Hey Dario, sorry for the slow reply! Swales are only appropriate on slopes up to 20 degrees, or 36% slope. Realistically, it's more like 15-18 degrees that's the maximum for stability. Above that slope, swales are not appropriate and should not be installed. Swales should only be installed below or at the "keypoint" on a slope, where the slope goes from steep to more shallow.
