I honestly don’t want to be used publicly. I have been sharing my poetry publicly for 20 years. I really just want to please God privately, publicly... I just want to do what’s right. To help my family, my church family, privately, publicly... I just want to please my Saviour ❤️💕
Extremely powerful teaching, especially about the importance of the "private" season. In fact, most called to the public have endured a very long wilderness season where you have been stripped of all ego, pride and self. It's such a deep sanctification process that your heart submits over and over to the Lord and "coming out of the cave" can actually be very scary. It feels more safe to be "unseen" and remain hidden, so it takes boldness and courage to step forward only -- and this is key -- when the Lord tells you it's time. Thanks for this teaching! It's definitely Spirit-led and there is much to glean from this!

Hey bro I just hit my 7 month free from sexually immorality. In no way am I bragging. It took me over a year and a half before something just clicked. I lost it all; even while reading my bible daily, being on my knees daily, going to church weekly, going to christian counseling monthly, and tweaking where I failed almost every time. The best advice I can tell you is it wasn't until I realised who I was doing all of this repenting for. I ask what does God need from you that he already doesn't have? nothing period. Ya I'm doing this for God, but I would more arguably do it for your wife/husband. I was in my car pulled on to the side of the road just balling my eyes out when I realised this. So what I did is I asked God to show me my wife's spirit by feeling it through the holy spirit. I did this without a body of what I wanted my wife to look like (so I couldn't Idolise or lust after something not yet known. AKA fake.) Simply ever since then I just feel that feeling of both God and my wife whether or not I am tempted. The best way I can describe the feeling is "an eagerness to serve my wife and God ONLY." no matter the circumstances. I hope this helps bro. keep up the Good fight. Also I still don't know when I'm ever going to date someone, so if y'all could just pray for God's timing to be aligned that would make my day. Thanks, and I definitely be praying for you as well.

I have been fighting for years to NOT be in the public, and stay private, and God has sent multiple messengers to me, including random people I have never seen before, just walking up to me and saying 'You have something to share that people need to hear, so stop hiding' and then walking away, and I never see them again. I have known since my youth that I am chosen for something, but everytime the signs point to anything 'public' I pull a 'Jonah' with the most recent being last week. I was praying about it over the weekend, and saw one of your post in my recommendations and was watching it, and 'accidentally' clicked this one while browsing the vids below. I don't think that God would work that way. I think that He would show you what your potential is (spiritual gifts and interests) privately before He would use you publicly. Trial-and-error usually begins on a smaller scale and then builds on that foundation by increasing scope and complexity. In other words, you would know what your basic potentials are during the earlier stages and develop them through practice and growth.
Yes! God will call you or give you a sign! In 2010, I had to read the readings at my grandpa’s funeral because the rest of the family had a fear of public speaking. At the bereavement luncheon, a priest asked me which parish I lector at. I said “I haven’t read church readings since 2nd grade.” 2 weeks later, after mass, an announcement was made that they needed lectors and were having a training. I answered the call and have been lecturing ever since.
I only want to be used publicly because I feel as though God have led me to do so. The enemy had me bound for a very long time. So I want to share my testimony with others in order to be a blessing to them. Lord help me/us in the name of Jesus to remain humble when you are blessing/using us in Jesus name. Amen.
Wow, this is so incredible, God spoke to me earlier today. He told me through someone else, that I was going to be "moved up." I didn't exactly know what that meant yet, until God led me to watch this video! I was very unsure about thinking that this was actually coming from God. Now its backed up in scripture, and the Holy Spirit, is guiding me to what God wants me to do! And my motives were wrong before I watched this video (wanting people to praise me; but that is vain, and leaves you feeling empty). Even though I love children (and I’m certified to work with them), I don’t believe God is calling me to work with them. I’ve got a STRONG passion for my violin and sharing my testimony through music. Points #3 and #4 applied to me especially. I’m actually going through a period of uncertainty and even though my passion is there, I just can’t play (I know, I’m making Daddy God IMMEASURABLY sad). This was on time. I haven't been listening to this channel because I wasn't in the spot for relationships. I knew God and still is working on me so today this video stood out. I've been dealing with the pandemic and Ive learned more about my calling during the last 7 months and I have been isolated from my home church to not spread germs in my household so I've been serving at home to help my loved ones and not expose the virus to them. Felt like I wasn't doing enough and my home church has been open for the last 5 months and people have been serving there but I felt led to serve at home. Every time I wanted to jump out and try and go back and serve at my church God would somehow stop it. It didn't make sense but recently he's led me to serve in a specific ministry and go to church online or to another one once this slows down. It was out of my comfort but I think it's all prep for me to lead in that ministry. Some of it seems impossible due to so many circumstances but God has told me what to do in the mean time. I think it's all prep for what's to come and he's using my experience from this year as a future lesson to tell others later on.
God blessed me with one of the most public gifts he could ever give! At first my parents were apprehensive about making it a career choice, but now I live in LA and I have a talent agent and manager. It’s not hard to get wrapped up in the lights and lifestyle of Hollywood, but there’s an amazing Christian community here that keeps me focused on why I’m an actor.
I was doing drugs living under a bridge , confined to institutions for years, and few years later now I’m working, have savings, sober, college graduate, driving a Porsche. Only God.
During bible study, a church member had the idea for the ladies to create a 30 day devotional and share our stories to help for other Christians. When she was explaining it, I felt that God was pushing me to be a part of this, but because I’m very shy, I was reluctant. Maybe this video is confirmation that I should take that leap of faith and share my story, but I’ll keep praying and ask God to reveal it to me. Thank you for this video!
I was led to do one for my friends because of all this going on. I plan on doing it once it slows down. It's all prep now. I plan on fasting after I feel like it is time to do one.
Honestly love this 🙏 Everything that has happened in my life is now making sense now. Prior to being saved I used to write and about a year ago, the Holy Spirit convicted me to stop. I love writing and I was like "why God?" But since the lockdown. I realise that yes, God needed to sanctify me first. Hence I am now insignificant. Today a few people come to me for help and I really don't mind extending myself for God at all. I must say though, the passion for writing has slowly died. So I am not sure what that means.
Oh wow! I felt this video couldn't be more timely! I have had a passion for writing of all kinds since I was a kid, as well as singing and dancing, but buried it all for decades. Since Jan, I've felt the itch again and can't stop the scratching. This helps me understand that it is ok to pursue these things as long as I remind myself to have the right mindset. I have been praying a lot about it too and God just pulled me out of my corporate job. I take it as a blessing :)

Thank you for this valuable message, I do have a gift of writing sometimes I may write in the sprit and will write pages of messages that is not of my understanding especially if for example when my sister was dyeing of cancer. I so much wanted her to live and due to she was at a distance and was to weak to talk. I remember writing in the spirt from time I got off work at 12:30 am to 6:30 am none stop. I just couldn't stop my hand from writing and it happens often then when I go back and read what I wrote, it's like someone else wrote it or I think did I write this, because the words would be so powerful. It's time for me to stop putting off what I know God is calling me to do with my online Life Coaching businesses, iv been getting to many signs telling me I need to get started, not for any public approval but to fulfil what God has planned for my life and to be a blessing to millions. I really appreciated this word. I don’t think I was valuing the private prayers I would offer for others as much as I could have or should have. This helped reinforce that there is indeed great benefit to the prayers I offer to others, and to the public, that I speak in private.

We all do ourselves a service to exercise some discretion and do some introspection on matters like this. I think it serves us well to take inventory that we've not been "intoxicated by a desire for fame" (paraphrasing you here) but rather that we would even do it in secret for God's glory. I don't like public speaking even thinking about writing publicly gives me the chills, but I do it anyway because I have a duty to do so. I don't like attention of any kind in a public setting. It makes me very anxious to the point of panic attacks. It's awful.
I also believe that dangerous people get into Ministry just as much as dangerous people are already in ministry when they are seeking their own glory or not following the voice/ instructions of Jesus

Well, this is certainly different! What if you DON'T want to serve publicly? Will he give you the desire to do it? I much prefer being in the background. When a visitor to Charles Spurgeon's church in London asked for a tour of the building, supposedly Spurgeon asked him if he wanted to see where the "real" power of the ministry was. Of course the man said YES! Spurgeon then led him down to the basement, opened a door and pointed inside the room. "There is the Real power of my ministry", he said. And he pointed to over 100 people on their knees, praying. He said they have that many praying every service of his. That is what I would prefer to do...be in the background. But if he wants me more public, hopefully HE will give me that desire. Just yesterday I witnessed to a man, and he really came on strong that I was not doing a good job of it. That I needed to "refine" my presentation better!😮 Yikes! So, maybe that is not my gifting, and I should just take solace in the fact that I was just being obedient. Even if I really stunk at doing it!😂
Yes, if you don't want to it usually means you are not called to. Every now and then we are called to stretch and do something we don't want to do, but over the long haul there should be alignment with God's call and the desires he gives along with the gifts you have

It was pretty funny because after I had him read the WORD (using the Share Jesus without Fear method), he smiled at me and asked if I was "open" to hearing another viewpoint. He then put the "Zeitgeist" movie on his phone for me to watch. You should have seen his face when I told him that I had already seen it, and Zeitgeist 2 as well. Many years ago! Haha! He was so puzzled as to why I would still believe in YESHUA. And I proceeded to tell him that just because these other "gods" seemed to be there before HIM, does not mean that they are the real ones! The enemy was told in the Garden after he deceived Adam answer Eve...that GOD would send a redeemer for mankind. So the enemy had plenty of time to put counterfeits in place before the real savior came! He was in shock.😆

Mark, I’m having trouble not hearing God. I feel His presence mightily during praying and worship, but I went from being filled with His Spirit/anointed to not being filled and not hearing from Him. I don’t know what I specifically did wrong, I have an idea, but not specifically. Any tips or Scriptures?
If You Feel Him Mightily. THEN sometimes you need to Quiet your spirit so His Spirit can Speak..U will Hear His Voice Like Ur Mind Speaking But You Know This is the Spirit of God..One way of Hearing the Voice of God is By Mediating On His Word......
What are the boundaries of “public ministry?” I know for sure God is not calling me yet for a public ministry but I am interested in translating my faith into art and showing them on social media? Is that considered a public ministry?
Amazing idea-I love creativity. Thats a talent & God can use it too, to touch/reach other people that are also in to the same thing. To be honest it could be as He grows your account and esp if it is not on a private page. I know people that done photography and now share their story working with big camera companies .....thats how God brought the in. 😉

My dream was to always be an actor, I can't go a day without thinking about it. When Jesus came into my life, it changed from worldly desires like winning an academy award to being in Pureflix movies. I would act every day if I could. That being said, I still don't know if that's God or if that's just me. I've been talking to God about it but I still can't tell.
I have new job since 4 months. Everyone likes me and allways say he is so kind amd helpfull etc. I give God all the glory because its not me who lives but Christ who lives in me. Its the fruit of the spirit. I long to be more like Christ. But i dont want to be liked by men only by God. I want to preacg the Gospel but sometimes i think im not yet ready for it or something? Either way, its difficult to know if you doing Gods work because i want to let them see Christ and shine the light and on the other hand the bible says if you are liked by men you are not liked by God. Can someone pls help me
Liked by men in that context means you people please When people are not of God they find the word controlling as the operate in their flesh and want to fulfill their own selfish ambition. So being liked is good because they notice you have the fruit of the Spirit..and either that will inspire them to follow Jesus or to hate you because they dont like Jesus who is in you. Your kind heart is ministering to them & they see an amazing undeniable difference 👍🏿
I'm gonna leave a suggestion based on my own personal experience with God. So I have always been a good public person. I am the chief debater, presenter, actor and whatever involves the public but when it comes to preaching na! I'd have none of it. Wouldn't even know what to say but the closer I got to God, the stronger the desire to share my testimony with the world especially on the streets. I struggled for years, many times I'd be like, but God why me? I'm still young and so not qualified to preach but he kept pushing until sometimes last year, I finally started to street preach, at first I'd just mumble a few words and quickly shut my mouth but the Holyspirit never stopped pushing for me to do more and today, I find myself preaching in vehicles, unafraid to take up the microphone and preach on the street if asked to do so and even singing, which has always been a major challenge for me, I find myself doing that with absolute surrender now. The rewarding joy I get from doing all these is unimaginable. This is something I don't feel proud about as everyday before I open my mouth I still ask d Holyspirit to help me cos I am only just a kid and he does help when we learn to lean on God not our own ability. Just go for it and take it a step at a time, the more you do, the better it gets. Stay blessed.
I think one to one evangeliem I find that private. As it doesnt require an audience. Crusading and setting up a place is more public but could be either.

Jesus Christ, after his ressurection, commanded that repentance and remission of sins be preached in his name in all nations starting at Jerusalem; and that they that believe and are baptized shall be saved, and they that believe not shall be damned. The Apostles then began to preach on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Ghost was poured out to “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” Blessed are all they that do the commands of the Lord Jesus!
I'm so confused:( I really want to tell all the jews about Jesus idk if it's his will. Like I feel like I want to learn Hebrew, And tell EVERY JEW also go to Israel. Idk if Gods will for me is to tell all the jews but I'm not sure if he wants me to go isreal I feel maybe not but maybe well Idk if I'm hearing him at all I feel like he isnt responding. I'll wait. Well, a days ago I was thinking if I ever had to go on news I'd want to have my face covered so I don't get glory or anything like that. I really want to tell the jews so badly :( I know they wont be happy with me but Idc. Like I feel like I I really love the jews I want to tell them alllll. I need to tell them I feel. I dont care about being seen I just wanna tell the Jews pray for me pls idk if all this is another trap from the enemy I can and pretty naive. I'd rather be invisible tbh but I still have a desire to tell allllllllllllllll Jews. I'm not even jewish and I'm a gentile. I know I'm called to evangelism NO DOUBT abt that. I used to have severe social anxiety disorder (was diagnosed) but Ik my calling is evangelism.

Even though I love children (and I’m certified to work with them), I don’t believe God is calling me to work with them. I’ve got a STRONG passion for my violin and sharing my testimony through music. Points #3 and #4 applied to me especially. I’m actually going through a period of uncertainty and even though my passion is there, I just can’t play (I know, I’m making Daddy God IMMEASURABLY sad). This was on time. I haven't been listening to this channel because I wasn't in the spot for relationships. I knew God and still is working on me so today this video stood out. I've been dealing with the pandemic and Ive learned more about my calling during the last 7 months and I have been isolated from my home church to not spread germs in my household so I've been serving at home to help my loved ones and not expose the virus to them. Felt like I wasn't doing enough and my home church has been open for the last 5 months and people have been serving there but I felt led to serve at home. Every time I wanted to jump out and try and go back and serve at my church God would somehow stop it. It didn't make sense but recently he's led me to serve in a specific ministry and go to church online or to another one once this slows down. It was out of my comfort but I think it's all prep for me to lead in that ministry. Some of it seems impossible due to so many circumstances but God has told me what to do in the mean time. I think it's all prep for what's to come and he's using my experience from this year as a future lesson to tell others later on.
God blessed me with one of the most public gifts he could ever give! At first my parents were apprehensive about making it a career choice, but now I live in LA and I have a talent agent and manager. It’s not hard to get wrapped up in the lights and lifestyle of Hollywood, but there’s an amazing Christian community here that keeps me focused on why I’m an actor.

I was doing drugs living under a bridge , confined to institutions for years, and few years later now I’m working, have savings, sober, college graduate, driving a Porsche. Only God.
During bible study, a church member had the idea for the ladies to create a 30 day devotional and share our stories to help for other Christians. When she was explaining it, I felt that God was pushing me to be a part of this, but because I’m very shy, I was reluctant. Maybe this video is confirmation that I should take that leap of faith and share my story, but I’ll keep praying and ask God to reveal it to me. Thank you for this video!
I was led to do one for my friends because of all this going on. I plan on doing it once it slows down. It's all prep now. I plan on fasting after I feel like it is time to do one.

Honestly love this 🙏 Everything that has happened in my life is now making sense now. Prior to being saved I used to write and about a year ago, the Holy Spirit convicted me to stop. I love writing and I was like "why God?" But since the lockdown. I realise that yes, God needed to sanctify me first. Hence I am now insignificant. Today a few people come to me for help and I really don't mind extending myself for God at all. I must say though, the passion for writing has slowly died. So I am not sure what that means.
Oh wow! I felt this video couldn't be more timely! I have had a passion for writing of all kinds since I was a kid, as well as singing and dancing, but buried it all for decades. Since Jan, I've felt the itch again and can't stop the scratching. This helps me understand that it is ok to pursue these things as long as I remind myself to have the right mindset. I have been praying a lot about it too and God just pulled me out of my corporate job. I take it as a blessing :)

Thank you for this valuable message, I do have a gift of writing sometimes I may write in the sprit and will write pages of messages that is not of my understanding especially if for example when my sister was dyeing of cancer. I so much wanted her to live and due to she was at a distance and was to weak to talk. I remember writing in the spirt from time I got off work at 12:30 am to 6:30 am none stop. I just couldn't stop my hand from writing and it happens often then when I go back and read what I wrote, it's like someone else wrote it or I think did I write this, because the words would be so powerful. It's time for me to stop putting off what I know God is calling me to do with my online Life Coaching businesses, iv been getting to many signs telling me I need to get started, not for any public approval but to fulfil what God has planned for my life and to be a blessing to millions. Excellent points, I found this one very helpful, Mark. I don't want to ever serve God with the wrong motives. We all do ourselves a service to exercise some discretion and do some introspection on matters like this. I think it serves us well to take inventory that we've not been "intoxicated by a desire for fame" (paraphrasing you here) but rather that we would even do it in secret for God's glory. Just started doing preaching led by the Holy Spirit, and some old woman pulled up in blue Mercedes G wagon saying here’s a donation. I shut her down immediately and said no donations. It’s sinful to take it while preaching no, I’d rather get their number God willing to have them donate to Gods church of holiness with my Apostle Gino Jennings. How’s that sound?
I don't like public speaking even thinking about writing publicly gives me the chills, but I do it anyway because I have a duty to do so. I don't like attention of any kind in a public setting. It makes me very anxious to the point of panic attacks. It's awful.
I also believe that dangerous people get into Ministry just as much as dangerous people are already in ministry when they are seeking their own glory or not following the voice/ instructions of Jesus

Well, this is certainly different! What if you DON'T want to serve publicly? Will he give you the desire to do it? I much prefer being in the background. When a visitor to Charles Spurgeon's church in London asked for a tour of the building, supposedly Spurgeon asked him if he wanted to see where the "real" power of the ministry was. Of course the man said YES! Spurgeon then led him down to the basement, opened a door and pointed inside the room. "There is the Real power of my ministry", he said. And he pointed to over 100 people on their knees, praying. He said they have that many praying every service of his. That is what I would prefer to do...be in the background. But if he wants me more public, hopefully HE will give me that desire.
Just yesterday I witnessed to a man, and he really came on strong that I was not doing a good job of it. That I needed to "refine" my presentation better!😮

Yes, if you don't want to it usually means you are not called to. Every now and then we are called to stretch and do something we don't want to do, but over the long haul there should be alignment with God's call and the desires he gives along with the gifts you have

It was pretty funny because after I had him read the WORD (using the Share Jesus without Fear method), he smiled at me and asked if I was "open" to hearing another viewpoint. He then put the "Zeitgeist" movie on his phone for me to watch. You should have seen his face when I told him that I had already seen it, and Zeitgeist 2 as well. Many years ago! Haha! He was so puzzled as to why I would still believe in YESHUA. And I proceeded to tell him that just because these other "gods" seemed to be there before HIM, does not mean that they are the real ones! The enemy was told in the Garden after he deceived Adam answer Eve...that GOD would send a redeemer for mankind. So the enemy had plenty of time to put counterfeits in place before the real savior came! He was in shock.😆

Mark, I’m having trouble not hearing God. I feel His presence mightily during praying and worship, but I went from being filled with His Spirit/anointed to not being filled and not hearing from Him. I don’t know what I specifically did wrong, I have an idea, but not specifically. Any tips or Scriptures?
If You Feel Him Mightily. THEN sometimes you need to Quiet your spirit so His Spirit can Speak..U will Hear His Voice Like Ur Mind Speaking But You Know This is the Spirit of God..One way of Hearing the Voice of God is By Mediating On His Word......

There are no boundaries. Bring glory to Jesus and make others aware of his truth and you are good to go :)
Amazing idea-I love creativity. Thats a talent & God can use it too, to touch/reach other people that are also in to the same thing. To be honest it could be as He grows your account and esp if it is not on a private page. I know people that done photography and now share their story working with big camera companies .....thats how God brought the in. 😉

My dream was to always be an actor, I can't go a day without thinking about it. When Jesus came into my life, it changed from worldly desires like winning an academy award to being in Pureflix movies. I would act every day if I could. That being said, I still don't know if that's God or if that's just me. I've been talking to God about it but I still can't tell.
It can't hurt to try if you feel released to try. Just waiting though will not result in it occurring :)

I have new job since 4 months. Everyone likes me and allways say he is so kind amd helpfull etc. I give God all the glory because its not me who lives but Christ who lives in me. Its the fruit of the spirit. I long to be more like Christ. But i dont want to be liked by men only by God. I want to preacg the Gospel but sometimes i think im not yet ready for it or something? Either way, its difficult to know if you doing Gods work because i want to let them see Christ and shine the light and on the other hand the bible says if you are liked by men you are not liked by God. Can someone pls help me

Liked by men in that context means you people please When people are not of God they find the word controlling as the operate in their flesh and want to fulfill their own selfish ambition. So being liked is good because they notice you have the fruit of the Spirit..and either that will inspire them to follow Jesus or to hate you because they dont like Jesus who is in you. Your kind heart is ministering to them & they see an amazing undeniable difference 👍🏿
I'm gonna leave a suggestion based on my own personal experience with God. So I have always been a good public person. I am the chief debater, presenter, actor and whatever involves the public but when it comes to preaching na! I'd have none of it. Wouldn't even know what to say but the closer I got to God, the stronger the desire to share my testimony with the world especially on the streets. I struggled for years, many times I'd be like, but God why me? I'm still young and so not qualified to preach but he kept pushing until sometimes last year, I finally started to street preach, at first I'd just mumble a few words and quickly shut my mouth but the Holyspirit never stopped pushing for me to do more and today, I find myself preaching in vehicles, unafraid to take up the microphone and preach on the street if asked to do so and even singing, which has always been a major challenge for me, I find myself doing that with absolute surrender now.
The rewarding joy I get from doing all these is unimaginable.
This is something I don't feel proud about as everyday before I open my mouth I still ask d Holyspirit to help me cos I am only just a kid and he does help when we learn to lean on God not our own ability. Just go for it and take it a step at a time, the more you do, the better it gets. Stay blessed.
