I heard more than my share of complaints. This game deserved much more credit than it got. It wasn’t perfect, no game is really. However I thought it was nice. I liked being able to hear Samus speak up for once and tell her story. I liked the horrific atmosphere that reminded me of games like Deadspace and Alien Isolation, and how Ridley went from adorable to horrifying on a whim. I liked that Samus at least has friends other than aliens. I wish Anthony had more character development. Hell I hope Anthony is in future games to be something of a sanity anchor for the Hunter. This game deserved much more love than it got.
i think it’d have been better received if the writing was better, like the whole thing with disabling all your abilities and only activate them “when Adam says so” was just infuriating. I’d love another Metroid game that plays like this though because the gameplay and exploration was actually fun
I love this trailer. I love this game. Judge me. Growing up, I couldn't afford to buy a Wii. I got it after several years and this was the first game I finished in it. Metroid has been my favorite franchise since I was a kid.
Well that's super cool. I've always been real attached to this trailer for some reason, so seeing this alternate cut is wicked.
That was the weakest "T for Teen" I've ever heard at the end
