This was hilarious and unhinged. Hilariously unhinged. Hilinged... On the excessive validation... Did it in the front end, did it in the back end, did it in the squeal stored procs, did it in the schema... Wasteful? Maybe. Over zealous? Probably. Paranoid? Definitely. But one thing you learn is that no lock has ever been undefeated ( shout out to @lockpickinglawyer, best April's fool videos ever... ) and the best you can do is a layered defense. It's not about making it impossible, it's about making it harder and time consuming.
Front end validation is for two good reasons. You let the user know asap that they have a problem with the form, so they don't have to wait for a potentially slow server call. It's so annoying to have to wait for a page refresh just to find out the form failed. You also reduce unnecessary traffic to your server, since you know in the browser that the validation is going to fail. Let the user's cpu pay for that. Backend validation is just the safety net and/or adds additional validation that can't be done in the form.
I do back and front validation, because its better for user I think, because you can make it instantly check your input and write what's wrong about input real-time without need to wait for it or , but ALWAYS do backend validation, because front-end one can be easy bypassed (I dont mean something like database check for front-end)
Just a tip for the editors in the future; 90% of TH-cam viewers including myself don’t give a damn about any of the twitch shannanigans that happen during the streams. I like seeing the chat overlay but banning people and reading chat messages / donations just isn’t interesting or related to the topic of the video, that’s why we watch here and not the stream
love how the music gets louder and louder until you can barely hear any voices. Seriously, what is wrong with modern audio mixing, or are my ears just going to 💩? The first few seasons of Rick & Morty are kind of fun. You should give it a watch.
Yeah, I also see the resemblance. Maybe to sound REALLY smart, you need to be pissed and stutter a lot. I mean, Musk pulled that off, and he made billions off of his image.
Prime: "There's definitely a meme here."
Prime: Literally watching the meme.
VScode: "I only know of it because i heard Theo mention it so many times" 🤣
I’d definitely watch an episode of Rick and Morty with Prime as Rick and TJ as Morty.
"oh my god he does sound just like me"
Haha, this was chaotic and hilarious! Had an opportunity to catch this moment on stream, and now had a pleasure to rewatch it!
Prime not knowing what squanching is
Saw this on Twitter, it was amazing. Watching it again with his take just makes it 💯
This is so hard to believe that Prime doesn’t know the Rick and Morty. It just seems it his humor.

I love this. This is how I like my tech news.

This is thr greatest video from prime
You *have* *to* watch Rick&Morty, because you deserve every laugh you get from it.
This is beautiful
Prime you should def watch rick and morty... char arc is crazy (a little unhinged, but story is good)
5:52 the amount of native HTML UX we can’t use because we can’t style them to meet the transient demands of UX teams… looking at you datetime-local!!!
Teej as morty, classic sidekick teej
Is like the opposite of a CS Lewis book
Both can make you think a lot.
Is lowlevellearning modding for prime?
Not any more. Streamers can't be mods. I've reported this to twitch and prime. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
This is so peak

Even the intermezzo when he talks about the shield is immersive as shit for a Rick tho
I think those parts are funny, but I also regularly watch the streams.
