The Crew have been on the look out for a gear hauler to take into the remote locations they film. They've burned through all sorts of duffle bags in the process and could almost design their own, after finding all the flaws and missing features of the bags they've trashed traveling the globe. But they're quite convinced they've found "the one"!

Thank you Viv & Erik, for the great review. I have an Osprey backpack, and a large 120 litre Patagonia ski gear roller. For Australia and Japan. Both are great but I need a 90 litre wheelie for Indonesia (where I live), and Asia, Japan and Canada. Have been looking for a few months. These are the features that have been missing on all that I have looked-at in stores and online. Your review of the 120 litre Osprey transporter wheelie just triggered my purchase for that model at the 90 litre size. Wheels, simplicity, reputation, short double shaft handle - not the single shaft Osprey handle. Many thanks.

Have you ever had any problems while checking in? I mean, the bag is oversized even for checked in luggage (158cm). Did you ever had to pay anything for oversized luggage?
