I think the reaction to driving it is a definite bit overkill. I had a 993 C4S manual and I didn't squeal like that. I've had various older vintage Ferraris, many Corvettes of all vintages, etc and while older Porsches are certainly cool, it doesn't provoke this level of emotion.
Ah c’mon… a little hyperbole for TH-cam car nerds is ok! But, I agree that a car seldom elicits that amount of raw elation. But maybe it’s genuine, who knows.

I am so blessed to have my 83SC. When I see an amazing long hood, it just pulls at me. Sounds like it does to you too.
The ending was the best. Fab cars, an old Rastafarian has one where I also keep my Aircooled. Had his since 1976. Still loves his own as well. 👌🏿
