Интересная зверушка. У нас дома в Казахстане жили два Сурка. Мишка и Машка! Осенью вырыли нору под крыльцом. Но не глубокую. Пришлось их забрать в дом. Это степные Обезьянки. Очень умные, чистоплотные. И дисциплинированные. Играли с соседскими детишками пока родители на работе. Утром Сурков забирали и после работы отдавали назад. И все это время два малыша блезняшки даже не плакали!👏👍
Боже, как интересно наблюдать за животными. Это байбаки? Могу ошибаться. Как они доверяют людям. Не боятся. Если бы можно было заменить охоту на фотоохоту - сохранились бы многие виды зверей и птиц.

@@herrbauer6642 I've got a lot of acreage and I feed any of the animals that want it. Deer, coons, foxes, the bears can even have at my fruit trees just sucks when they tear branches off. Or I could never interact with any of the wildlife and just fence it all off so they can't eat a tiny portion of my crops. (Mostly they get the fruit that's just a little too ripe for the farmers market) What sounds better for everyone?

The problem is that you say "once they know that YOU are a food dispenser", because this means that you feed them and they dont have to search for food by themself. This means that once you are gone (their food source) they might not remember how to find "real food" in the wild and will die. This happens a lot when people feed squirrels. We could argue that coons will go to the trash and find food this way... but that in itself is the problem.

All very nice and cute and friendly. But putting human spit into marmot mouths is Russian Roulette for the marmots. You don't know what you may be carrying that could end them all. Something harmless to a human might not be so harmless to them.
