manufactured MVP is so accurate...i remmeber when the season just started and analyst and so called experts already crowned her MVP...what CC has done all season with breaking records from stats, to attendance, to viewership, to merchandise sales, and a huge new tv deal...is way more than anything wilson has accomplished for the league (not team) her entire wnba career.
If you can find the comparative stats between Clark and Wilson, there are 10 categories. Out of the 10 Wilson just got only 2 category, namely 1) PTS/G and 2) Total PTS. The balance of 8 categories are all earned by Clark (AST/G, Total AST, Contributed AST PTS...etc.), but coz of politics and hate towards Clark, Wilson got her as you said manufactured MVP.

Before this year I had no idea who Aja was. But at the start of the season, I’d watch these interviews where AJA and Becky were being snarky about Caitlin Clarke….but then in early July, the Fever were coming to Las Vegas. She was asked about how it was gonna feel playing in a sold out arena. She flat out lied and said that the Aces always sell out and this was nothing special…but she had that snarky jealous look on her face….well as it turns out this game against the Fever was just like all the Fever games. The Aces were sold out with over 20,000 fans in attendance. They had never had that many before, the average attendance for the ACES WAS 10,000 in 2024. And the average ticket prices were super low. With many tickets given complimentary to gamblers.. They had never had this many fans in their history. They normally play at the smaller arena…this is when I really understood the hate and jealousy she had.
I remember that snarky interview, and at that moment knew A'ja's true feelings would eventually surface in a not so subtle way!!!!

A little while after this, Martins playing time went down big time. She was at 15-20 minutes before but after the jersey sales news hit, Kate Martin was demoted to 3 minute a game. She went from a contributor on the team to only playing a couple minutes except in garbage time. Hmmm coincidence?

1. WNBA fans, which has been established as very small.
2. Caitlin Clark fans, which has been seen as many times more than WNBA fans.
#2 fans are only watching because of Clark. They could care less about any other WNBA team, player, legendary firmer player, coach, analyst, etc.

Clark games break attendance and viewership records, and how does the WNBA respond?
1. They make sure to leave her off of the Olympic team, favoring Dianasaur, who isn't even good enough to help Team USA in the final v. France.
2. The refs don't protect her in games. They refuse to suspend anyone, so the targeting continued throughout the season.
3. They allow the NO CALL EYE GOUGE in game 1 and other fouls. They THROW game 2 in favor of the Suns by awarding the Suns 23 FTs, but only awarding the Fever 9 FTs. It resulted in a 15-point spread in favor of the Suns, who only won by 6. The refs let the Suns foul Clark and the Fever without penalty (no whistle).
The WNBA couldn't even guarantee fair playoff games.

4. Some racist, jealous voter made sure that Clark would not get "unanimous" ROTY either. 66 out of 67 voters gave Clark their top vote for ROTY, as they should. She was the clear winner.
Think about it. The white voters all correctly gave A'ja the unanimous MVP, but someone (LIKELY black) was unable to vote objectively regarding Clark.
The haters can't beat her fairly, so they have to attack her legacy (by keeping her off WUSA, not calling fouls correctly against her, voting against her melanin count instead of for her stats, and by trying to ruin her reputation).
