I'm a big fan of yours. Although I don't build models, i used to as a young boy. Yesterday my mum died from pancreatic cancer. Last night I found this waiting for me. Seeing as she bought me the kits and paint etc, I think i might be the only fan of yours to have cryed throughout your amazing build montage. Thanks David.

@hhhk20 I'm complementing him for shit that *I* personally cant do and find remarkable, if you want to shit on people for that, thats on you. plus, I consider making a bunch of square pieces of plastic into something that almost looks like the materials its real life counterpart would be made of, pretty damn "something from nothing" In total, fuck you, and go back to looking down your long nose at people.

@@jyrkimaansiirrotoy1836 definitely .. i have watched Plasmo the first and later NightShift too and i think that the main difference is that Plasmo is mainly like an explorer on which you can see himself learning and getting better at his hobby. Its a great Czechoslovakian team and i really enjoy watching both of them
I like them both, I think Night Shift (Martin Kovak) is wittier but that’s his style, there are some great scale modellers on TH-cam; Small Soldier, Will Pattison, Lincoln Wright, Paul Budzik, International Scale Modeller, JENIC, Panzermeister36, Luke Towan and Sergio Solo to name a few...
@@jyrkimaansiirrotoy1836 No they are not. One is a very good professional. The other an inspired genius. Quality craftsmanship vs on the other side art. One is good the other great and unequaled. Once again my friend, your amazing skills have made my Saturday Night complete. And the week too! Thank you from an old Hippie that tried to do what you do back in the 60's and 70's. :-)))
That feeling you get when David says...”and now I will make a few SMALL modifications”.......JOY!!!! Great work my friend, another masterpiece of work!
I’ve built models but never to the level that you make yours. Your modifications give your models more realistic looks and and your painting highlights the original state plus use. Keep up the great work. I look forward to your videos.
I love how every single model you build and paint has a little touch of you in the building. wether it be brass gun barrels, metal meshing, brass armour plates etc, you make each model your own in some way. seriously dude, you are an amazing modeller.
You added so much detail to this kit with just basic items, fantastic work. The Gun tub and quad really stand out. Great little Wirbelwind! Congrats! Love it! OH NO! YOU PUT AN ANTENNA ON IT! WHAT WILL THE EXPERTS SAY! HA!
madness, the first time i try this scale, it drive me nut that i swear i will never make another one on that scale again.. and you just make it look so easy
I love watching his videos- they take me back to my youth. When I was a teenager it was easy to do things like that sight made of wire, but then I was nearsighted back then- and we did not have stuff like photoetched brass parts so we had to make everything like that if we didn't want to make do with the gross plastic parts in kits. Now I am much older and got cataract surgery- now I can see the stars with my naked eyes but need a magnifier to see anything small. Oh well, life goes on.
WOW. I'm in two minds when I see a Plasmo video notification. These look so good and the painting and weathering looks so easy to do. And yet my models all look like crap compared to this...
I always hit the Like button before I even start looking at your videos, because I know that they never disappoint me. This video was no exception - well done ! I look forward to the city diorama.
I've never constructed a model in my life... But I just love watching these videos! :D I'm thinking of maybe giving some car model a try. Could be a good thing to start with, right?
Why not ? The main difference might be in the paint / finish. Cars and such are usually made to look new and pretty so there is a lot of successive painting / polishing sequence but less to no weathering. I just got myself back into the hobby after many years. It takes a lot of practice and be patient and be prepared to be somewhat "disappointed" at first but in the end, just enjoy the process and do as you feel. You decide if your car belongs to a showroom or Mad Max's personnal collection.
I recommend to start with one of those small Revell Star Wars kits, those kits are very easy to build and they are great for trying out new techniques. Just take a look at the X-Wing and ARC-170 Videos from Plasmo: th-cam.com/video/Hyekocpfxdk/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/pwLBi1YCY1k/w-d-xo.html
I would recommend something around 1/35 then. 1/72 is a good scale but can be too difficult when starting out. 1/35 also allows you to hide more blemishes and faults with sanding while also being decently detailed.
