This is also good for weapon leveling
It’s movement is quicker with strand double grapple nades in stead of sparrow
Silver Leaves collected this way count for the Solstice triumph too. Very nice for those of us who really prefer not to step foot in Crucible or Gambit.
It works , even got a Jade rabbit catalyst drop
I didn't know you could get catalysts from private matches so getting the malfeasance one was a fun surprise while doing this

All you have to do is capture 1 it takes about a minute to finish the match and you can farm orb bounties while doing it for silver leaves.

remember to equip 3 crafted weapons for level increases
ultimate glimmer booster ghost mod for 1.2k glimmer per run
prosperity ghost mod for random legendary drops / exp ghost mod if it doesn't work

Edit, got past 100 leaves cap, there may be a new cap due to bounties also needing leaves
Silver Leaf farming was the reason I visited Cheese to day.
I suspected he would have a good way.
Also gives 40% weapon level per match, so equip all your underleveled weapons...
EDIT: Out of the 10 matched I've done so far, the fastest I can get is 1 minute (plus exit/loading time). I also got a legendary drop the first time, so I equipped a Prosperity mod and on my 8th match I got double legendary loot, so that works too!!!
EDIT 2: 25 matches completed and no more legendary drops? The first three must have been a fluke or tied to something else. So I put on a Glimmer mod instead.

I find Caldron to be the best map. Cap all zone in 30 secs with only using sparrow boost on the initial flag. This will be much more macro friendly compared to the other maps.
Collision seems to be slightly faster plus you dont need to run across the map to cap zones

If you don’t want to deal with the tedium, you can set up a tinytask macro to load into private matches. Set it up for 5 minutes like in Cheese Forever’s other video, but make sure to add in various actions at the 2 minute mark to avoid getting booted to orbit for inactivity. It’ll take some trial and error to set up the tinytask, but once you do, just set it up just before bed, make sure you have the lowest graphic settings and FPS, then let it do its thing.
@@FaIlHiGH brilliant, though I wonder if there are differences between load in spawns when you launch a private match solo. Might have to figure out a common point to move to in order to capture the first zone

I left a macro running last night just to see if it would accumulate leaves; alas it did not after 77 we’re in my inventory. It’s weird because I also did it during the day yesterday and it worked fine. Unsure why
Remember that you risk getting banned for using macros.
You can put it to 5 mins as well and it counts. Also if you do the 50x super that counts for bounties as well

It does,. You need to hold triangle and return to orbit and it'll take you to the correct screen to launch.

Rewards from private matches has been a thing since FS launch, though this might finally push them to close that. Though given it's a 3 week event and they don't want to push even more players away, I'd be somewhat surprised if they even made the effort.

When I cash in my forged bounties I'm not getting the solstice package, is any one else experiencing this, am I doing something wrong?

The bounty clearly says we will get one plus the other currency
Yeah, I am getting random crap drops but no actual "package " with any Solstice gear.
I'm pretty sure the "package" are the occasional weapon drops you get when turning in bounties. Unless of course it's bugged like everything else. Either way the drop rate is abysmal and it's only one legendary anyway.
