You flip up the white lock towards the ribbon cable he was doing it backwards. Im still u sure if he even unlocked it and inserted the ribbon cable in all the way. Shame to.spend the money on a new screen and proper adhesive and have a noob do the install.
He might should have watched TH-cam video first to see you lift up in the white piece, it pivots up to release, then push new screen connector hard black piece til seated, then push down to secure. Just did my Screen on my Z4, all went fast, applied Adhesive, while holding together, went to read Drying time, it said Ear Drops😵, Had to clean off, apply correct adhesive. Works Great. The Glue and Adhesive bottles looked a lot alike. Friend said good thing Glue Bottle not mistaken for Prep H.😯 Stratmando
