Ghost mourner on the synchro resolves backwards, since I was turn player, my chain link would have to be mandatory CL1, and his CL2. Mourner does nothing to negate the synchro’s effect since his book of moon effect will have already resolved.
@@EyesOfNeji00 isn’t it a when effect? The last that that would have happened was he summoned the monster right? The effect happens on summon? Or am I missing something?
@@JamesBates-mn4ki yes so does the synchro monster as it is a trigger effect on summon. He’s not turn player so for any trigger effect I have, his would come later in the chain. The other larger synchro as well as a quick effect(he can just chain to mourner). So using mourner would have resulted in my monsters being booked, and missing the window for negating the effect due to turn priority
Could have baited the ash with Genroku and had quick play during battle.
