@@Duelist07985 thanks!! yeah but it’s 1 brick, and if I’m going second and have barrier + no engine in hand idc what list you’re on, it wouldn’t matter. Coelacanth isn’t necessary, but like I mentioned in the video I think it helps in-brick hands that would normally be awkward(first combo showed)

totally messed up combo game 3 too, needed to detach two ryzeal names instead of the duo drive off of duo so I would have one more body in grave for node

Haha I just got back into the game around ROTA release a couple months ago, so I picked up + borrowed some staples and never got around to upgrading. Definitely on my to do list tho

@lordchaosyt6525 while that is a line I think the idea is having as many options as possible. It doesn’t hurt cause if you don’t have access to get to sprite there’s always keeper 😁

To explain why I decided on this, my thought process on the reason why I don’t like that is because you’re linking your “win conditions” together. If I’m able to get to any of my rank 7s, then I’ve either already won, or my opponent still has interaction that I wasn’t able to clear out. So having Keeper to ensure that I save Posidera for my very last play won me several games and eliminates how fragile the deck can be. You also aren’t always able to get into a rank 7, lots of steps need to happen and resolve to get to that point. If you're only reliant on summoning a drawn Coelacanth is to discard him and then get to your rank 7 successfully and resolve its effect, then you're making your deck incredibly more fragile than it should be

Looking forward to it. The one for one even though u have neptabyss access is fine I think. It checks for ash, nothing worse than normal neptabyss, send shadow squad, add rhyne/goons, new chain shadow squad eff gets ashed. Especially if u don’t play coelacanth because the rhyne typically does nothing here without having another water in hand

@@smileywater haha fishborg is; 1. A fish 2. Level 4 3. Less than 1500atk. If the sole purpose of having more pikes in the deck is to just summon off of Big fish, you’re better off playing fishborg. Can be revived with Coral anemone

Coel is a good card, but Pike isn't, as it's not a true starter. In a Droll format you might need to just take that concession, but in a vacuum i do not think Coel is needed at all.

@@DevenStraderI heard about this, running sphere might be a good side option. But at that point we would have already gotten to abyssrite. And if we’re there, we’ve most likely already hand ripped with Montreal and molenglacia. So it seems a bit win-more to me since it’s just piling on what we’ve already got access to, assuming we’ve made levirtue dragon which can set up the same thing. Though I think having that as an option to go for toad along with it is strong

@ I use it for the grind games, round 3 ish. But I like it turn 1 since you don’t get full combo often. Helps to use on your turn too for otk if they don’t out the board but leave you with just back row and 1 non useable

@@DevenStrader although I would love to see the ultra rare sphere in my deck again that card is so pretty ^^ it feels like win more cards while we can search prince to hand with dragoons/levirtue dragon to bounce and pop during our opponnents turn using outlets like detach shadow squad to pike/shrine/abyssalacia. Waste of space I rather draw usable engine,/handtrap/boardbreaker or a brick that serves a really good purpose in the deck like anti dshifter piece.

@@AzrielTheOne d barrier is an option. Though, it’s not searchable like virtue stream. I’m now wanting to side it instead. But d barrier is obviously still great

@ I agree, I cut it because I figured Poseidra was just replacing the body but honestly there’s no reason. It’s goin back to 3 lol. I’ll probably end up putting 2 Poseidra in the side and main decking one, depending on how consistent I can get to the board I need at that point in time!

@ I am interested to kow how tht feels. I understand why and it makes sense especially cus u can main more non engine without really losing anything except a 4% ish consistency hit id imagine. if u go tht route, please bring up how tht felt in detail if u dont mind! 😅

@@wyatt5868 thank you! They’re TeamSamX sleeves but there almost impossible to get. I stg every time I take him out I miss him. But I was testing this out and it honestly performed very well. There were times I missed him, and times I was glad I didn’t draw him. I only bricked twice through 9 rounds.

@ yes same. They’re always out of stock 🙃they’re solid. I’ve had this pair for a little over a month now. They do get dirty easily however. MTG sleeves are also a solid choice 🙌🏽

@@lorenzotanzi9851 sure, but do we really want that ? I’d rather draw a copy of Judement + strike than another copy of therizia. Misc is fine but on the end, having the trap access from the get go is important !

@@EyesOfNeji00 that's true, but I also use Fossil dig to bait Ash so that the opponent has One less handtrap to use on domain and frenzy. I also use more handtraps in my variant, but that's my style so I can agree on your approach to the deck. Really cool decklist btw!

@ thanks a ton!!!! Yeah your logic totally makes sense! The ash bait is fair, though, regardless of the Dino deck, a good player most likely is going to hold ash for the misc, or the fusion trap I imagine haha. Stay tuned! We’ll keep doing some more morphin content along with MMATL
