I have only seen one movie in 20 years, but as a kid, I watched the classics..Of course now, we understand its all propaganda...Hollywood has been infiltrated by Military, agencies, spooks...Maybe its been that way since pre Hollywood days...when everything was being produced back east...

@@sIXXIsDesigns And what is a Shadow Box? It illuminates objects using light and shadow. This title has nothing to do with a business that Thomas once had. There are shadow boxes in nature. Here, it's a musical shadow box that Thomas has done, with clips of 1930s thru 1960s American culture. It resonates because WE too are shadow boxes.

As a species that makes music, we are instruments of imperfection that can produce endless variations of sound that can be interpreted as " perfection" It's what I seek in my compositions, but recognize it does not translate into myself being perfect. Mozart said it best when he said " I am a vulgar man, but I assure you my music is not"
The greatest pleasure about composing is how you feel as you create new soundscapes. I hate the competition/awards BS part of the music industry. But when you are jamming with friends or alone with your preferred instruments.it's what us composers consider a nirvana state. My wife is a brilliant painter and she also goes into this trance like place, and obviously, you experience it as well.Thank you brother!

i suppose thats just what is is.. you are creating an environment... a scene... a stage for you to craft whatever your heart desires.
i wont say for every song its incredibly challenging... as some come very easy... others.... well.. they test my skills and my visions... if i cannot 'see' what it is 'supposed' to be... things can be very difficult if not seemingly impossible.
for instance... the Bass/Piano/Trumpet piece has me somewhat questioning things... should i even add the Bass at all.. because in my heart i do not see a true need for it.... and as it is now... i don't even see a rightful place for it... and although i think i am creative enough to do it... i don't even know its worth it.
i actually have one MUCH closer to Production... "Let the Haters Hate"... something i crafted with relative ease and very little time... or maybe its just that i had enough with the Haters and can relate more readily.... idk.
its one of those things... it feels 'wrong' if i am not critical to some small extent.. but then some pieces i don't feel that.... i like them as they are.
hehe... here i go ranting on an on again... hehe
anyhow... i think you will like the "Let the Haters Hate"... has sort of a 'Tribal Sound' to it... sharp and Staccato... with abrupt changes and unpredictable stops.... all i have to do now is 'dream' up a suiting video to go with it.... and as the name implies... this is EXACTLY its purpose.... just hating to hate gets people nowhere.

They all have exterior and interior meaning, sometimes interpersonal and at other times, they reflect these times.......

It's likely a hint related to Liber Primus from #Cicada3301 puzzle.TS does this kind of hint frequently.

In fact, so timeless, that the exposition reminds me a bit of that strange piece I once heard about a time traveling wizard. Weird how artistic inspiration works asymmetrically like that. The build up, resolution and finale of this one evolves much differently. I imagine with the instrument selection it took some time to properly arrange and mix. Also, the montage of clips, as always, is artfully montaged... I think I recognized some of the clips from... Citizen Kane?
