Something realistic some Planet Zoo players don’t understand is putting wires around trees.(If needed) kinda like Okapis and Giraffes or Elephants not getting to close to the trees to eat or knock (trees) down
Great job with this one Leaf! It just so happens that I’m building a Père David’s Deer walkthrough exhibit (I think they’re guest friendly) inspired by the Bronx’s in a famous certain book title themed zoo that I’m feverishly building in time for Halloween and you’re definitely gonna want to check it out once I finish it and figure out how to put it on the workshop! 👻🎃
Beautiful footage, especially the tiger in the afternoon light with the fog emanating from its breath. I would love to see more Zoo Tours-esque videos like this.
I know that Père David deer love mud and wallowing, and spend a LOT of time in water… but does the zoo say they’re the only amphibious deer species? Because moose (Alces alces) spend a lot of time in water during the warmer months. Their floppy lips are ideal for grazing on aquatic plants. The sambar (Rusa unicolor) and rusa deer of Asia have been seen far from land, swimming from island to island in Indonesia. Then there’s the barasingha aka the swamp deer of India and Nepal… which spends a lot of time in water.
Let’s zoo it
Slay
