    Key sentence right here: 6:32 "One of the things about experienced people is they make it look so easy". That's the untold number of hours they put in to make it appear that way. Experience is worth the higher costs, and it's a shame the industry doesn't always see it that way.

    Please have a DIT on your channel. It is such a huge part of the filmmaking process and I’ve never seen one being interviewed anywhere online!!

    I get the impression that Camera Operating is easy because I see DoP's operating and Directors operating when they actually shouldn't because union rules don't let them. And I get the impression that if they can do both directing and operating it must be simple

    At 5.59// why two cameras next to each other. I see this setup a lot in Hollywood films. for example why not another angle so you can get more coverage? just my thought

      Lighting for two angles can also be more difficult.
