Sir in the total_cutomers DAX, why we have used the date filter like datesbetween as the slicer will automatically filter the date as per the selection of slicer nh. Instead we can go for countrows and it will have automatically filter the data as per the city and then the slicer will again work as a filter for that selected date.
If your bring data through Import Mode from SQL Data base. And you want to create a calculated column. Better to create at the database itself or in PQE . Also some Data Transformations better to do at SQL Data base or PQE . ( SQL data - Import Mode Only)
I think this will make it complex. Becoz I already made it dynamic only its not hard coded if you watch it properly. ( From the selected range which is dynamic subtract 365)
One question.... I watched your some interviews video's or some other videos where u explain how data loaded in PowerBI and create reports...how you perform etl in PowerBI query editor. So i want to ask in real time also you perform etl in power query editor or you clean data using SSIS and only create visual in PowerBI.....i want to ask in real time also all cleaning done in PowerBI itself without Using SSIS or other tool? It happened in real time ? It happened with you?
Yes most of the transformations or cleaning we do in Power Query...if in any particular project specific ETL tool has to be used then you don't have any other choice but to use it for transformation

@@xyz_1943 Because not all the transformations you can handle in power query in power bi so sometimes they prefer to use seperate ETl and one more reason to give less load on power bi if the data is huge. Yes you can get the job.

Scenario : Donut chart is there that is region by volume. I want top 10 regions by volume. How can I achieve that? ✅ Scenario: Rolling 24 months. So, volume, net sales & gross profit is there. In that visual (from line & stacked bar chart) you don’t want bar chart. So, what other charts can you use? ✅ Scenario: Client having 2 categories i.e., potato & prepared potato products. So, there are volumes. Volume is a measure that we have which is derived from a table. If you see this measure, it is coming from a view, it has different values in sales volume & value. This is giving you the volume for this. Now, how do you calculate % of volume? ✅ Scenario: It’s January new year, for ranking which function will you be using? If you wanted to rank the month according to the volume. I want to rank the category or the month, I just want to rank it based on the volume i.e., potato should come as 1, prepared potato should come as 2. Which function will you be using to get it? Scenario : If you are a stakeholder where you have normal amount of data, but you want direct query mode to use. What will you suggest? Can you convince me why should I go for import mode? Ha, It should work.
For last year any other formula can we use apart from Datesbetween....for comparison if they ask 2 yrs...
For last yr Sameperiodlastyear ()..can be tested if it works right.
