I have heard the wheel hop can be fixed with a upgraded lower engine mount or dogbone. I’m thinking of picking up the sxth element one! The DCT does the same.
Yep, it made a huge difference on mine. On the OEM lower engine mount I replaced just the rubber bushings with stiffer ones and it almost completely eliminates the wheel hop. The bushings I got were whiteline black heavy duty mounts. It cost less than $40 so its much cheaper than buying the entire mount.

I’ve heard the static mount can cause crazy vibrations. I did the powerflex bushings on the lower torque arm, upper engine mount , and transmission mount. It worked great

Obviously much better than a base Elantra but I don't recommend it if you're at that stage in life where saving for a house or other expenses is your priority. Its a toy at the end of the day, despite others saying it's a daily driver. It can be with proper tires and stuff but it is a sports sedan that uses premium fuel.
How good was the bass? I've heard mix reviews about it especially since it has a mini subwoofer? How was the experience. I'm almost sold but I wanna know what you think about the bass?
I’m a bass head and purchased this car about 3 months ago. For a stock sound system it has really good bass. These videos don’t do any justice for bass
@@sunnyvalentino It drives amazing in comparison. The mustang felt archaic after driving the Elantra N. The handling is leagues above the mustang. The only thing I miss is the sound of the v8. Luckily I’m in a financial position to be able to afford another performance car.
Not gonna lie kinda sound like a Evo a bit and around the same advertised horsepower when the Evo was new. If it were AWD this thing would be hurting feelings worse than what it's already is doing.
0:47 would someone care to explain why only the turn signals on most new cars are still using incandescent bulbs, whilst the rest of the lights are using LEDs?
@@pieswimmer1 mate I used to work in Hyundai. The guy asked a question. I've driven them all. The N is not a daily car unless you absolutely froth for performance. The n-line Elantra premium or n-line sonata are much easier to deal with day to day comfort wise.
Came from a 2016 Fiesta ST to this. The normal suspension setting is WAY more comfy than the ST ever was. Definitely still a little stiffer than normal, but it's totally daily drivable

Does the suspension in the softest setting still feel to rough? Like a car with coilovers? How would you describe it?
Even in the softest setting it's 3 times as stiff as the n-line sedan

I was actually surprised at how comfortable the normal setting is. I was expecting it to be way harsher considering the roads here are awful.
