I saw Vanden Plas live at wacken open air festival in Germany, i don't remember the exact year since i saw more than 500 live shows in my life, there were a lot of people at the show but nobody was pushing to be close to the stage so i was very close to the stage, like 5 meters far, it was a fantastic show of a great band, i loved this band from the first time i've heard them, it was the song rainmaker on a compilation, thanks for sharing, cheers!

Been a fan for many many years, love every album and their live performances are amazing!!! So happy this new release came out. Aside from dream theater these guys are the best prog band, so incredibly under rated! They don’t know how to write and play a bad song, truly brilliant!!!
At the moment i am working as an extra at my local theatre and these guys wrote a play I am lucky to be a part of. All of them are extremely talented musicians and especially Andy is such a nice guy. It's quite the experience sharing a stage and chatting with them behind the scenes. :)
Wow! That is a brilliant live performance. I wish VP would come tour the US. I know they have played Prog Power before, but I've never been able to make it all the way down thee to Georgia. Beyond Daylight remains one of my fav VP albums. Top 1 or 2.
Great band! Watched them during the first few years in the mid-1990s. Great to see them release a full live-album. Unfortunately, Frontiers cotinue their policy of failed live-releases. If you want the Blu-Ray and the respective CDs, you have to buy the DVD/CD-version and the Blu-Ray. Unfortunately for the bands, I do not support this kind of rip-off by the record label.
Germany isn't known for making good music. There are some bands I like to listen to. Helloween, Edguy or Gamma Ray for example. Vanden Plas are on a complete different level though. They can truly compete with the best like Dream Theater or PoS. Sometimes I even forget they're from Germany.
