South node of the moon, Ketu, is a shadow planet know for isolation, spirituality and letting go of material gains, but in 2nd house the south node of the moon gives lots of wealth, separation from family for various reasons, but ketu in the 2nd house makes a person not wanting to have wealth, which is why they get it, there speech is also very powerful and spiritual, however, they tend to isolate themselves through their speech. But, Ketu aspects 5, 7th and 9th place from itself, so it runs away from conflicts, enemies, and debts, while Ketu inquires unusual, undetectable type of disease. When it aspects the 8th house it gives gains and resources of other people's wealth, as in other people will help you gain wealth and assets since past life you were making money on your own while in this life you will enjoy other people's assets. Ketu also aspects the 10th house from 2nd house, where it makes a person a researcher, analyst, spiritual guidance and someone who becomes a film critic.
In western astrology There is no south node, most of the time western astrologer only consider the north node of the moon Rahu. Rahu = Uranus, while Ketu = Neptune. Neptune represents isolation just like Ketu, this is why in vedic jyotish you do not need to look at Neptune or Uranus, and they are too far for their magnetic pull to effect humans on earth. Ketu is all about spirituality and finding the truth, so these people are not attached to family as much even though they love their family and family history. I have this placement with an exhalted Venus. I spent most of my 20s with a man who borrowed money from me, cheated on me, I didn’t care about his lack of money but he broke my heart. Within 2 years I met and married my husband during Saturn-Rahu; I had no idea he had as much investments as he did because he is a very simple, sweet man, but I have more assets now through marriage than I could have ever imagined and I am completely set financially. I am an executive at a big credit company - so I deal with “other’s assets” all day. Vedic is powerful stuff, I am not Indian and completely new to it....

This is so true. The more I receive materials stuff the more I detach from those things. As soon as I saved up some money I donated back to society, family etc. but the strange thing is I make more and more money each time I give.

This is so true for me. I have ketu in the second house and I literally have no material desires except reading and learning. I have to constantly learn or else I feel depressed.

I have always been isolated from my family even as a child growing up in the same house as them. I was married previously but now I am engaged to a wealthy man, who I did not get with for his money, but who has chosen to financially support me. Me too! I have listened to so many KRS videos and all have been spot on, until now. I am super close with my family, and have no savings! However, the more I learn about Vedic astrology, the more I understand it really depends on the placement of other planets and in what houses. I want to isolate from my family, but for creative purposes. I enjoy being with them.

These comments resonate so much for me! I have Moon's South Node in the 2nd house, also Pluto there. It is true I am isolated from my family. They are of a strict fundamental religion, which I had to leave. Since that time our relationship has been very strained, and now I have actually cut them off. They have demonized me and want me to wear a cloak of shame. This is not good for me and so I go my own way. I am into dream analysis and I paint dreams. I am a visionary artist. I relate to what you said about being futuristic in my speech and so I am misunderstood a lot. Yet, I hope it isn't true that I my communications/expressions are only appreciated after my death. I hope everyone knows that a Vedic natal chart can put your ketu in a completely different house than in western astrology. My vedic natal chart has my ketu in 2nd house but my western natal chart has my south node in 1st house. Vedic astrology fits my life to a T. I was so sick a few years ago and no doctor can figure out what was wrong with me but finally one did which took a while! Other things KRS described fits too, amazing!

Like one of the other commenters, I have Ketu in the 2nd House of Sagittarius and Rahu in my 8th House of Gemini. I have listened to so many KRS videos and all have been spot on. Mostly spot on, have ketu in my 2nd house , have been separated from my family by land even though we are very close. Very interested in astrology etc and very artistic, def like a peaceful life and don’t get involved with drama and tend to be very calm and don’t react. Although I don’t think money brings you happiness and don’t care much for it, I love living a luxurious lifestyle,eg nice restaurants , places , expensive holidays, clothes… I think this must be the Libran in me!

I have this placement and I can really relate to your description.. I do feel separate from my family and like they don't support me. And I also feel like I have a lot of wisdom (Jupiter in the 1st house) but people don't really accept it, like my knowledge of astrology, numerology, etc.

Thanks for the video! I would say I agree with everything said except in my particular case I do feel I am material sometimes. On one side money gives me a sense of security on the other it stresses me out. I just want to have enough money to lead a regular life, not more, not less and then I can stop thinking (pressuring myself) about it! Meaning, I would never be a financial advisor. I could be a researcher/analyst only of those topics that interest me. Also I wouldn’t want to be completely isolated. People give me energy and I need to find a way to bind research with communication so jobs like teaching, sales etc would I think be a good fit for me!

Nice info :) Its true.. i have ketu in 2nd house and.. and i had a huge health problem (I am still being treated), they started out of nowhere...the doctors did not find the cause for me...of course..they do some tests but they found nothing..Based on my intuition, I asked them for certain tests and I was right..my diagnosis was correct in several cases...so iam doctor without Degree 😂 i heal myself in intuitive way and so far it is correct.. ( i mean or takes pills or herbs, which pill , which herbs how much.. etc etc) my ketu and rahu are exalted

my Ketu is paradoxically paired with Saturn in my 2 house and so far I've been feeling the saturnian influence at its best.. I guess Ketu's charm will come along after 32-35... A Leo with Ketu in Cancer in 2nd house. I really haven't got a clue about what it means but I moved away from my family across country knowing I wouldn't see many of them again. I'm really strangely detached concerning death. We lived in a travel camper for years and we were satisfied there. Now we have money and live in a house, but we are still the same people. I can make do with what ever.

I have this and this is spot on. But I'd have to say it's definitely more intense because of certain aspects and the sign it's in.
