South node Ketu in the 3rd house makes a person isolated with siblings, local community while making the communication process of the 3rd house a bit eccentric. These people have a hard time communicating with others in sales, media and marketing. When they explain something, it's quite difficult to understand the subject. The only time Ketu does well in the 3rd house is when it becomes a higher spiritual sage or an author that expresses idea in a written form since 3rd house deals with working with hands that includes writing. Ketu in the 3rd house brings about a healing power to the native, but their need for isolation and separate themselves with the material world brings about chaos in the communication and relation with friends, siblings and neighbors. But from the 3rd house Ketu aspects the 7th, 9th and 11th house. The spouse of the native would be quite spiritual and eccentric, there could be long isolation periods between the couple which may eventually result into separation. The aspect on the 9th house makes them isolate themselves from their own beliefs and create new faith and belief system just like Adolf Hitler did with Nazi party. He wanted to become the lord of his own making since Rahu is in the 9th house, as Rahu the north norde is always 7 places away from the south node. Then, Ketu aspect on the 11th house brings about isolation and separation from older sibling, network circle and carelessness towards gains. These people feel they are is a huge communication gab between them an their social circle, this is why they can not work into small or large group settings unless they are the creator of that group.

On the bright side Ketu in the third house gives you,
1. The ability to understand any subject matter in the deepest level possible. You may not hold a degree or a title but you will attend that deepest level of understanding once you have decided to delve into any subject of your choice.
2. Uncommon courage. You may be just an average joe but when shit hits the fan, you will stand out like a bright flame against the odds that just landed. It is a good placement for soldier/warriors.
3. Writing superpower. Your spoken communication may suck but you will write like a pro, enough to write a bestseller...I’m not kidding. Writing is how you will express.
4. Toughness. You will be very tough because of your ability to detach your emotions from tough situations and analyze it to find a solution objectively. This may make you blunt in speech but you make it up with your actions.
5. Beauty! It blesses you with a beautiful appearance. I don’t know why Ketu do this but as a rule of thumb Ketu in the third house people are beautiful.

I have Ketu in the third house, and all of my years in school I was generally isolated, or personally alienated myself from my peers. I have only had a small handful of close friends. You're description is incredibly true. I also have a rocky relationship with all six younger siblings of mine, I feel the need to be in control of them (because I have "already" gained control of them in another life) so when they don't listen to me I get heavily frustrated. I love astrology and metaphysics, but my dad does not like my obsessions with these higher philosophical studies, and when he voices his problems with it I fight back with all the ferociousness of Rahu >:]

Somewhat accurate. I have Ketu in 3rd. I love speaking to a large audience, it feels like home. I like spirituality a lot, sibling relationship is ok, spouse communication is good, I hate chit chat in small group is utter pointless but understand that it is a necessary evil. I captivate people when speaking (many people told me this), I suck at writing. Last but not least, I like money, I don't care to be super rich but I'm good at making money. My ultimate goal in life is to lead/ start an organisation that will help those less fortunate in the world.

I have Ketu in the 3rd house in Leo conjunct Sun, Mercury, and Venus. I was a carpet salesman for 25 years. I was quite successful but I had to work much harder than the other salesman because of my difficulty in expressing my thoughts coherently. The last year I worked I was the #1 salesman in a 7 store chain so it is possible to do well. I have to say however that I never really enjoyed the selling but measuring for the carpets in the home was more enjoyable.
I have ketu with sun in the third house of Gemini, being an Aries ascendant. So here are a few things I'd like to point out.
1) Yes I'm very direct and straight forward in my communication to the point where sometimes my words pierce right through. Especially happens with my Pieces moon mom where I end up talking about eventual death, karma and everything related. She ends up taking it otherwise sometimes even though she knows how much I love her and how much the thought of it scares me. Being a Leo moon I can't tolerate injustice in any form to anyone. I think I'm becoming bolder when it comes to speaking my truth as I'm transitioning further in my Rahu mahadasha.
2)I want to communicate something but end up digressing a lot. I'm learning eventually though. Also while fighting my point across, when I'm considering the point of view from both the sides, I end up loosing my fighting spirit.
3) I do want to be a part of large groups where I can get my point across.
4) I am religious but not to the point where I would want my own cult or something.
5) As I have Rahu in my ninth house I haven't been able to complete my Masters. But I do plan to complete it in the future.
6) And ofcourse the communication with the partners get affected. I feel very misunderstood a lot of times, like why are people not understanding. I'm talking the right stuff. Truth is bitter. Infact I have absolutely no qualms in accepting what's wrong even if that's me.

Yes.. Interpretations about ketu in 3rd house is so true. I believe that whatever vedic astrology predicts is based on the past life karma and that our life is determined by previous life karma + present life karma + God's grace and I believe vedic astrology predicts only according to previous life karma :) So results of present life karma and God's grace are mysterious elements in Vedic astrology chart! As per my knowledge Hitler fell because of Rahu, he made modifications to Swastika which imbalnced the energy's of Swastika,as just like Kanji's have calculated and balanced strokes, each has reason , Swastika too has a way to draw by syncing it's energies to gain the energy, as also shown by Dr.Pai in his TH-cam video. I have ketu venus and mercury and 3rd house in taurus. I have an okay communication. Sometimes i speak wayyyyyy too much. Sometimes i am quiet. When i was kid i spoke rubbish. Now its a lot better. Very logical through. Kinda funny sometime. Huh! I didn't know i was good at public speaking. But when i started it in college I did not stop after that. You should have seen my confidence. The only disadvantage is that i dont wanna do it too much. I feel very humble about it. Also I only care about getting the message across. Writing is getting better everyday tho.

Ketu in 3rd house. I build my career in 4 places since i was in my 18 and all of those connections that i've found, i runaway from them hahaha. now i have nothing left for business or anything. No communication. no relatives. No connection. At least my mom and dad still with me and God knows until when. I should searching something good for me to survive.

In Vedic astrology, with the whole house system and the house aspect system that it uses, any planet aspects the whole house opposite to its house, along with any planet in that house. It is different from Western astrology in that way, because each sign is a house, and each sign is exactly thirty degrees. However if you want to look closely at degrees, I think you will get a stronger effect from exact aspects between planets than from wide ones.
