What I’m confused on is how do I keep that cloud layer on every frame. I drew a cloud, then started the animation assist and started drawing lightning frame by frame. But once I press play, the cloud only shows up on the first layer and all other 30 layers are just lightning by itself. Could you briefly explain what you do to keep that cloud on every layer. Thanks

You need to make a group for each frame, just duplicate the cloud layer and make a group from each cloud with a new lightning layer. Hope it makes sense!
