I'll philosophy that, it's because SF4 had options. More options opens more doors for creativity. SF2 was more simpler but is widely respected, as given its time...and sf3 kicked it up a few notches. now sf5 was made for the masses and more user friendly. Do you have to have some skill to do well in sf5? Yes. But the game makes you strictly play each character a certain way, comebacks are built in. While having a strong emphasise of "rock paper scissors" model. Guess wrong twice and you lose
The last time shotos were actually VIABLE!! Now, they are just shells of what they used to be... SMH love you SF4! Even Oni was a huge part of my love for SF in general. And the last time Ken ever looked good. SF5 default and alt short hair skin is UGLY!!
It’s a testament to how hype this game and its community is that I can recognize 90% of these clips without ever touching a copy of SF4.
