In our society, there's a significant problem: gender inequality. Historically, men have often been given preferential treatment over women.
To combat this issue, the government has introduced laws and measures that have helped reduce inequality. However, a new problem has emerged: false accusations. Some people misuse these laws, falsely accusing men of sexual assault and partner aggression.
These problems arise because some believe that Indian laws aren't entirely fair to men, making it easy to make allegations against them.

recently i read about a madras high court judgement where they can make housewife entitled to husbands property , these gender biased laws musnt be passed what if the man remarries ? will the man be entitled to the womans property . we need justice , scrape these . what about the real issue of not being binded by any of these family related provisions etc ? modernity cant force anything on us a married partner/partner isnt family like the biological family , the children are in anybodys case .

My uncle was in punjab police and i asked him about rape cases(Specifically about punjab) he said law pushes men into a corner, we know 95% cases that have been are either consensual or fabricated.

I recall a same incident I just watched today.
At my college a Boy proposes to a Girl, the girl didn't say anything but she grabbed his hand and drag him at the front of assembly where almost most of the people can see she took off her slipper and smash the guy's head almost 15 times. So imagine same condition but swap the genders.

Even if they listen, they won't because no judge wants case to run longer. Proving someone isn't guilty takes time. In case of harassment they don't want to spend more time because they know that proving man isn't guilty would take ages. And the mindset of society is if a women screams she is harassed. When I was in School in about 9th class, a girl in my class complained of her pocket money getting stolen when students were in Playground in Game Period. Me & another student were given Duty to secure the classroom on that day.
When we were made to stand up in the whole class, we were damn embarrassed and I was so haunted with the thought of getting blamed as a "Chor" that I still remember it and sharing with you. Later after a few minutes into the class, it was found that she dropped her money under her own seat.

An incident from my school.
We were in class 8th. My classmate was in relationship with this girl in our same class.
Our classes was over ,it was around 2pm. They had a fight, started with arguing she ended up slapping him right in class in front of everybody. After a few slaps he pushed her away so he can run. He could have also hit her but he didn't, next day she filed a compaint to police station and principals office. Him with his parents were at police station the officer told -" we have cctv footage he is clearly a victim. But we cant help. They both are minors. Talk to girls parents to take the case back"
His parents with our school principal and some senior teacher somehow managed to convince her but he has to leave the school. He left.
Next day Sister(teacher-convent school) brought all boys of our class to one room and explained everything about good touch bad touch some sex education and a few laws. Even if a boy is clearly non guilty he still be taken to court untill he proves it.
If that happened to me, I will literally make her life miserable

It’s not only india but the whole world has this problem. Like I did masters in the US and in my university a guy was falsely accused of Rape. He fought hard and was fortunately proved innocent, he even had security footage to show that he was being groped without his consent and she pressured him to come into her room. But the university still kicked him out, he lost most of his friends, and I really don’t know what happened to him. That girl destroyed his life. What I heard was she was never criminally charged cause just like in india, there is no law in the US against fake rape cases nor any laws against woman sexually harassing/raping men.

I was 15 when I was sexually exploited by an elder women neighbour... years laterWhen I was able to talk about it with my friends they were bemused by it...saying tu to lucky hai (you are lucky) and what not...
Hearing all those comments I started thinking about it in the same way as them. I was very much okay with the incident citing it to be in the past, or so I thought.
I was with my girlfriend and when we were about to have s#x, all the hidden and suppressed trauma came floating up and I couldn't even get myself erected, and this happened time and again eventually leading to the break up.
One year into therapy, now I am okayish but cant get into a relationship...I am still afraid to my core hoping I get all cured someday soon.

You know, since I was a kid rape meant sexual abuse to me regardless of gender, but when I read the definition of it in IPC I was confused. The real problem arose when I asked a lawyer why sexual abuse against men was not rape and he was confused. He said men are raped?!

Completely agree, law needs to be equal. 90% of women these days, take advantage of such one sided law and threaten her husband, in law along with her parents. Infact this has become a new Norm to extract money legally. Worst part is these women, flaunt their fake cases and spoil other women who has intention to lead a simple married life. The most outrageous thing is that most of the genuine rape cases go unreported due to sense of shame, or the perpetrator goes scot free due to social strature, money, and/or power. Sometimes officials are even reluctant to register an FIR. On the other hand, fake rape cases, as I learnt, are registered almost immediately, and destroys the self-esteem, life and career of many men, some even resorting to taking their own life due to shame, mental trauma and suffering. Now, who will bell the cat?
correct, this happens is because the people who commit real crimes has a powerfull background behind and he knows that he will be saved no matter what he does or who he kill, and when the fake cases are registered to mainly people who has no powerful background then no one can save them, and even if someone by will of his own registers a fake case against any person with powerful background, then the powerfull person put all his works at play to stop that person, even the police is afraid because they know the danger of going against them.
