- Berkshire Hathaway Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Warren Buffett discusses the Glide Foundation, his investments in Bank of America, Home Capital and IBM, and his views on income inequality. He speaks with Bloomberg's David Westin at the Smith & Wollensky restaurant in New York on "Bloomberg Markets."
Thank you Bloomberg for posting this entire gem of an interview!! It is very much appreciated!!
Yea, the rich stroking the rich.
Hard worker his entire life. Successful, brilliant man who gives away so much money to serve mankind, yet criticized here in multiple ways. Absolutely Amazing!
Ask the people paying higher electricty costs after BH took over their Public Utilities, for the Rich to profit.
@@jerrysedlacek6354 Now ask the poor guy complaining on youtube comments instead of making money, why is he complaining instead of working hard to change the world and put more money in his pocket like he says he cares about?
hi
"I always like to keep $20,000,000,000 laying around" - haha... yeah... me too...
you know... for a rainy day
Look at his smirk right after lol
Kmlll yeah just 20 billion
They took it from the wages of the W-2 workers
He was able to dodge answering the question about IBM by talking about Amazon
He's an expert at that ! Watching his interviews he does it all the time
interviews like this make me wish warren to live to 120s
Sharp as always.
It's funny listening to the 1% of the richest, greediest men in the world talk about "Income Inequality." That's like listening to Goldman Sachs talk about the honesty of Wall Street.
This guy is incredible and comes at a time where there is so much greed. For a guy in his situation to understand the average persons needs and going to help is a testament to his modesty.
what does Buffett mean when he said that the 5 tech capital can be run without any equity capital @13:30 anyone can explain?
Equity capital is basically money in exchange for stock. He is saying that during the Industrial revolution big factories and oil wells etc had to be built for the big oil, steel, and etc companies. But with tech all that infrastructure is not necessary. Tech companies also have large margins on top of being asset light. Basically, I take it to mean tech companies can run on free cash flow and do not need investors to get their company off the ground, only a product.
Need more WB videos!!
What a timing
I am surprised how often is a Trillion is used these days... Perhaps its becoming the new Billion ?
Question is whos pockets are they going into?
The Wellesley family are a high level British nobility involved in military and have alliances with the House of Orange, House of Bonaparte, Spanish House of Bourbon, and British Crown. The Wellesley family's ultimate loyalty is to the Dutch Crown. I believe they have origins in Venice and were originally the Venetian Fonte family which gave the name Fonte to the commune of Treviso. Fonte means Well in Italian like a water hole or spring. The House of Orange also have Venetian origins and use the shell symbol for their Royal Dutch Shell company in reference to the orange haired deity Venus being birthed out of sea from a seashell. Venice is named for Venus. The Venetians were the top merchants for centuries. The head of the House of Wellesely is Arthur Charles Valerian Wellesley the 9th Duke of Wellington and he has worked as a director, chairman, and deputy director for about a dozen different merchant companies including several French based companies like Pernod Ricard and Sanofi. His wife is Princess Antonia of Prussia of the House of Hohenzollern which are German royalty. Arthur Wellesley the Earl of Mornington worked for Bain & Company, Charterhouse Capital Partners and currently works for Oakley Capital Investments headquartered in Bermuda. He worked for Bain & Company which is connected to Bain Capital with Mitt Romney as a co-founder because they are allied with the Earls of Romney in the UK which invited King William III of Orange to takeover the English Crown. Lord Frederick Charles Wellesley is another son of the 9th Duke of Wellington and is involved in the military. Lady Charlotte Anne Wellesley is married Alejandro Santo Domingo Davila and he is worth over 4 billion as part owner of Santo Domingo Group. Valerian Wellesley the 8th Duke of Wellington was a Knight of the Order of the Garter which are London's reformed Templar merchants. The Wellesley family also are the Dukes of Ciudad Rodrigo, Spain granted by the Spanish Crown for fighting against the French in the Siege of Ciudad Rodrigo. They are also the Dukes of Victoria in Portugal.
The Wellesley family were also made Princes of Waterloo by the Dutch Crown for the 1st Duke of Wellington defeating Napoleon at the Battle of Waterloo and were also given large amounts of land in Waterloo, Belgium which they still own. The 1st Duke of Wellington was able to defeat Napoleon because the war was staged. The House of Bonaparte is allied with the Dutch royal family today. Arthur Wellesley the 1st Duke of Wellington was a member of the Congress of Vienna which was the basis for the United Nations and is what restored and strengthened the powers of the Vatican, Jesuits, and several European monarchies. The Napoleonic Wars were really a strategic plot to genocide Europeans that opposed the tyranny of the Papacy and monarchs. I believe that the Wells family which immigrated from England and established Wells Fargo are relatives of the Wellesley family. Wells Fargo has 1.9 trillion in assets and it is likely the Wellesley family have a large amount of shares in this bank. The town of Wellesley, Massachusetts was renamed to honor the financier Horatio Hollis Hunnewell who was an agent of the Wellesley family. The Wellesley family frequently take the name Arthur and this is in reference to King Arthur in the British legend who wields the sword Excalibur. They are covert owners of MGM's Excalibur Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas which Italian-Spanish crime syndicates use for money laundering and making criminal pay offs disguised as gambling wins. Arthur Gerald Wellesley the Earl of Mornington is highly active in his family's criminal enterprises and is considered the real King of England by the Dutch House of Orange-Nassau which previously conquered England under William III of England. Arthur Wellesley is extremely narcissistic, dangerous, and malicious. Through the House of Wellesley's banking and merchant connections which are like a well of money this family is financing relentless corruption and tyranny.

"I like to keep $20 billion around..."
so if it wasn't for Suzy, Warren couldn't, wouldn't give a fuck, at least he's honest about not trusting people helping the poor and needy.
I always like to keep 20 billion laying around... 😂
I don't understand why he won't run for president. I would easily vote for him.
He isnt a politician and he is enjoying life..why would he?
Mitch McConnell blocks anyone from accomplishing anything worthwhile anyway..he took 3 million so far from Russian oligarchs.
Inequality needs to be solved by either redistribution like Sweden (more socialist), or the way wealth is distributed in the first place like Japan (I would say more communist). We live in a country where our Executives' are paid 400X the average employee... Executives in Japan are paid about 5X the average employee.
Remember the Sharing Economy? Uber and Airbnb? Where is the sharing when the $65B dollar valuation is given to only 7,000 shareholders and none of the partner drivers, seems like everyone is really getting a great slice of that pie!! right?
Listen, I'm not sure what exactly needs to happen but I will leave with a quote from Gandhi. "There's enough on this planet for everyone's needs but not everyone's greed."
Also America,
Don't you love our Education System? How our elite schools are exactly just for that, our elite? Our public state schools do a greater deal more for people under the poverty line to bring them towards at least the middle class. Look at how many rich dads have rich sons there is no mobility in this country and it is a lie to say there is much of it. I will say there may be a little but nothing more.
The "American Dream" is... well just that, a Dream. If you want the American Dream, go to Denmark where the university is free and mobility between economic classes is greater.
thank you warren
My mentor. God bless you.
#Kimgottago
Now go listen to a Donald trump speech lol
Not sure what the difference is. They would both fight to keep their system going - which is so good to them, to the rest of - not so much!!! Both guys are much too rich.
No thanks...
