- The sunrise view from hot air balloon of thousands of temples spread in the Bagan valley is one of the most impressive views to enjoy.
Bagan was the capital of the first Myanmar (Burma) kingdom from the 9th to 13th centuries. It has the largest concentration of Buddhist temples and ruins in the world. At its highest point, the area had more than 10 thousand temples, of which less than 3 thousand remain today.
Recorded February 2015 in 4K (Ultra HD) with Sony AX100.

I've never been here but it seems extremely underrated. Those temples look huge and there are so many.
+dan8 The places is amazing and one of the top temple sites in the world to visit. They didn't get on the UNESCO heritage list though, because during the military rule they rushed the restoration without following the proper archaeology procedures
There are more than 4 million ancient pagodas.
I was twice in Myanmar....and I'm willing of going back so many times any longer....the stunning places to enjoy of that are yet so many do....B.O.B.'s been surely most exciting experience I had so far
Absolutely immaculate video and music. We were there in 0ct. 2014. A breathtaking country and its people are an example of respectful kindness what the world needs badly. I do need to visit again.

Speechless... different civilizations offered different traditions, cultures, and lifestyles... some live to this day for us to enjoy and preserve... and some died many years ago... forgotten and buried in oblivion... but even after all this time... still manage to offer us with awe inspiring architectural remnants that somehow still leaves something to our imagination...

Magical! Looks like something out of a fantasy movie. :) The quality and resolution of the footage makes me feel like I'm right there in the balloon with you. Very cool! Have you ever played around with masked adjustment layers in After Effects? It might help bring some extra pop to the sky while maintaining detail in the foreground. For instance, at 5:43 you could add a feathered mask to the top half and bring down the brightness and increase the contrast and saturation to bring back some vibrance to the sky, then have a second mask for the bottom half and push the brightness a bit and increase the contrast to enhance the warmth of the sunrise while killing some of the haze. Not too much mind you, since the soft tones are very nice, but it could give a shot like that some extra kick. Just a thought.
Brain Candy TV In fact I do not use After Effects, Only Premiere Pro. There are similar effects to achieve this in Premiere, and in fact for this clip I have applied something, but just light touch. Removing haziness further was changing the feeling of it. But what you describe is more advanced and probably additional effect could have been achieved

Magical video of a magical place. I actually did this flight in 2020 with my daughter and we landed on an island in the middle of the river, just missing the river by about 5 metres. Your video brought it all back to me. Thanks.

I want to see this scenery as well. Because Myanmar is a Buddhist country, there are many temples. The view from heaven is breathtaking. The harmony between music and scenery is very harmonious. Isn't it scary if you take a hot-air balloon? Someone who has acrophobia seems to be hard to ride. I want to experience this experience in the future.

I did this 20 years ago when the company had just started and only had 2 balloons there! I remember it being a big chunk of my holiday budget, but it was worth every penny. I must say I can't imagine what it would be like with the amount of balloons that are there now - busy skies!

I've been to Bagan once in 1982. no balloons available then. still very impressive.

This was for sure the best of the three flights I had. The other two were also quite spectacular and also caught on video - the Albuquerque Balloon Fest, and Luxor in Egypt
