You should also download the apps Zalando and Trendsales . Trendsales is like a cheaper version of depop and Zalando has a Pre owned section that is usually really good
It’s so weird, cause i started watching your videos not that Long ago. And now you in the country i live in. I have never watched a TH-camr that litteraly moved from another country, to Denmark. Hope your going to like it here☺️
In the UK we have shops called charity shops. They are in literally every town 😂 so I dunno why people say we don't have them. I will say your value village is huge; But usually in one area there will be like a handful of different smaller shops all for different charities. Also what is big here is a thing called a car boot, bit like a yard sale but everyone goes to one area like a field or a car park on a certain day advertised in that area. These are everyone just in my town we have like 5 on every weekend
Girl I'm from Mexico, and we do have them all over the country but they're not stores, we call them swap meets or tianguis, sobre rueadas .... there's usually people selling clothes on the street like a garage sale but on the streets. I live in Tijuana so idk about the exact location in Mexico city but u cab Google it and girl u are in THE MEXICO CITY I'm sure you'll be able to find designer goods ✨
Berlin and Hamburg have some thrift stores called ‘Humana’ where the prices are closest to value village / goodwill! Let me know if you’re ever in the area, would love to meet up :)
Ok girl hear me out: Madrid Thrifting. If you come here and look up best thrifting stores, there are ton BUT be careful because it is a bit pricey. Malasaña is what would probably show up on google and it’s basically a block of thrift stores. They’re mostly curated. But one thing that you won’t find on google is humana. They’re basically good wills in Madrid. And the discounts are crazy. There’s a whole week where it’s just discounts. It ranges from everything being 10 euros to everything being 50 cents. We also have the sunday flea market, the Rastro. It’s pretty cool. Hard to find good stuff but definitely worth checking out. Come to Madrid you would really love it!!!
GOD I’m obsessed with your channel. Thank you for being so authentic to yourself and I love that you approach thrifting with the goal of only brining perfect pieces home and not filling your home with unused items just because. You’re teaching me patience hahaha
I´ve been obsessed w your thrifting vids lately aaand yes I went thrifting myself (thanks for inspiring) and bought the most amazings stuff like low rise jeans etc yayyyy!
there is like a fleamarket called Kirppu, it's very much alike the one you shopped at. But there is all the small donation thriftshops like: røde kors, kirkens korshær, blå kors and so on. Many of those shops are in every city in Denmark.
I used to live in Nashville, TN and lemme just say, the thrifts there are amazing. The goodwill outlet in Berry Hill is the best. Go there if you go to the us!
heyyy, the thrift stores here in Denmark aren't big at all, but in the city Hvidovre there is a thrift store called folkekirkens nødehjælp.. its very small but its my fav.. my whole closet is from there.. I've found cargo pants, Levis pants, the best leather jackets and you have to check out the mens section..
Wow everything looked great, but I’m glad you tried them on bummer that leather jacket was a tad bit tight but was fire on you😊 can’t wait to see the next video!
Love your videos, i live in copenhagen and would def recommend a store named "kirppu" its not as expensive as lidstore, and in berlin u should also try a store named "Humana". Hope you enjoy denmark
Can you please let us know what the prices are in Canadian currency when you are looking? You did on some pieces. It would be fascinating to know the exchange rate. I loved this video because it gave your viewers the opportunity to see these types of stores rather than Value Village. But, I LOVE VALUE VILLAGE! Continue to work hard. You have my support and love!!!!! Proud of seeing so much growth in you over time. (I’m a mom, of 2 teenage girls). Girl Power! 👊🏼❤️
Honestly. You have to go to the countryside or smaller towns in Denmark to find the most amazing thriftstores with the dopest stuff. The thrifts in Copenhagen are often overpriced and overpicked in my opinion.
honestly I don't like thrifting in scandinavia (im from sweden) jsut because 1. its expensive or 2. rarely good pieces to find. I wish good wills or thrift stores like america existed here that would solve all my problems. But I'm glad I see a bit how its in Denmark. Because I'm pretty sure they got better thrift stores than Sweden. I might go there in the summer lol.
Are you going to be in Stuttgart, Germany at any time during your travels??I am moving there end of March, would LOVE to meet up and check out some thrift stores together!
Amanda, you are sooo wrong about the prices! You have to remember that the prices are danish and not euro! An example: 4:52 you say they are almost 200 Canadian when it's only about 20 Canadian.
If you search on Google , search second hand Malmö and you will find a lot of second hand. Like Erikshjalpen, emmaus and myrorna.. I think they are a lot like value Village..
gonna do a vid thrifting @ all the thrifts U recommend,, leave any below :*
I would recommend the stores called røde kors, blå kors and kirkens korshær they are real thrift stores:) Aarhus has THE best thrift stores btw
You should also download the apps Zalando and Trendsales . Trendsales is like a cheaper version of depop and Zalando has a Pre owned section that is usually really good

There’s no thrift store like value village in the U.K., there’s charity shops but compared to value village they are mid.
