No. Righty tighty lefty loosey.
Remember this.. When it's making the sound it means it's not doing anything.. Nothing is happening when it's making sound. So in the video you're tightening it..

Can you use the ratchet for loosening a very tight bolt ? Or it will just damage the ratchet ?

Yeah you can just be careful you have a good seal on the head of the bolt otherwise you can strip it
