Good work bud. I started last year end of may 2021. I'm now nearly on 200 customers and it's only February. I was a ex lorry driver of 20years and didn't really see my kids grow up as I was working away sleeping in my truck. But now I'm out doing cleaning services and I can pick when I work in a way and I can see my family more now.

How are you gone about building up your round? Whats worked for you?
Ahh thats good, I bet they love being picked now.
My son is 2 and he loves going in the van...its funny because its nothing special but to him....its daddys van.

Good luck brother!! I started in May 2020, while on furlough! Haven’t looked back since! I work part time and make more than I did in my full time job! Going to grow it again this year and take on a second van 💪! Good luck dude!!

@@seeitcleanltd-aylesbury smashed it on Facebook and ran some effective ads. After that it’s just knocking to make the round more compact. Canvassing is awesome! I know Pryors uses leaflets but I want to wait until I’ve got 2/3 vans before I do that as the jobs will be scattered. If you’re using squeegee you can text out a referral offer for your current customers (I’ve not had to do it but that would work well). Clean some local road signs or school signs etc and post in on social. Maybe clean a fire station or ambulance station free. Local bus stops etc. Help grow the word in the community and it’s nice to give back too!

Hi. I have just found your channel. I too stumbled across Ashley's channel during lockdown, and its a great source of information. I was looking to move away from the motor industry, and in to exterior cleaning. I like the look of your channel, so am now subscribed.

I'm looking to change career and start up a window cleaning business part time to start with, fingers crossed will get more confident to move onto full time eventually. I will be going through your videos to pick up hints and tips over the coming weeks. What I've watched so far has been good. Cheers Mike 👍🏻

Great question, this is something I’ve considered however :
There hasn’t been anything for sale in my area to consider.
I had some concerns about it,
      > Would the quality of the work be there?
      > How would the customers feel?
      > How many would I keep vs lose?
      > How long would it take me to make the money back?
The list was endless but like I said, there hasn’t been any come up so I’ve not be able to explore it properly.

I’ve got a video coming out in the next few days showing Bark.com and how it works etc. This has been a good source of business for me in the first few months.
I am planning to bring more videos out on this subject, just trying to find the time 😳
Offline opportunities - Canvassing, leaflets, networking events, asking your existing customers for referrals to friends etc.
Online - social media I’m general on your pages etc, post in your local Facebook community groups, have a website with good SEO, Set up your business on GMB (google my business),
With most customers I always try to offer upsell options, such as sill restoration, gutter clearing, Fascias and soffits etc this helps to turn a £20 job in to £60-£80.

It depends on a few things...
      1) your current fitness level (mines not the greatest, and after the first few days I ached in places that I didn't know existed 🤣 but like anything it gets easier with practice and consistency)
      2) The weight of the pole / brush head you are using, this is why I opted for the Carbon pole,
