XD Same here, Revan is such a cool character and all these fan films show the potential for an incredible character to be written in live action, it'd be a shame if they brought him to live action and ruined him. Sadly I don't think they have any interest in the old republic, so I think we will just have to deal with the fan films and mods for now.

The way he was feared, revered and respected is like no other Jedi or Sith we’ve ever seen. Not to mention Kreia was his master.
What makes Revan so compelling is not his strength with the force, it's not his uncanny ability to weild the light and the dark, and it's not even his relatability to the human condition of failure and redemption. It's the simple fact that a noncanonical character, meant only to be an obscure footnote relegated to something comparable to fan fiction, ignited a fandom equally as strong as Revan's sway with the force. It propelled him well beyond mere recognition in canon to the heights of one of the most beloved(for me the most beloved) Jedi in all canon. Amazing.

I grew up with a vague memory of the Mandalorians, after a stressful contact with my mother, one of the older boys living with my foster parents sat down with me and read to me from an old tatty book about the Mandalorians. About how they saw adoption, how there was no distinction between adopted children and their own flesh and blood, how it was those who raised them that were their family. How I was like a Mandalorian foundling -- I might have a blood-mother, but my foster family were no less *mine*. This older boy also read to me about his favourite character, Revan. He was a saviour, conqueror, hero, and villain all at once, how he was the boogeyman of the galaxy and put a fear into the villanous and rightous all at once, that he was the very embodiment of both death and hope for these people. He was the living embodiment that no one is all good or all bad, that we are in control, that with our own strength and the aid of others in equal measure we control our own paths and choose how we treat others, how we view others. It was so long ago, I was so little, I don't remember who he was, as he was eventually moved. A autistic young boy we had fostered on and off during respite came to live with us permanently when I was about 13-14. He moved from Thomas the Tank Engine to Star Wars because my foster-nephew (foster mother's grandson) was into it and often brought up some of his Star Wars toys (no lightsabers, my foster dad hated violence). His favourite was quickly Darth Vader, because things with very human eyes scare him, and in an odd way, Vader's unmoving mask was pleasant and comforting to him because it was inhuman enough it didn't trigger his sensory issues. I knew vaguely Star Wars -- who doesn't -- but it never ticked in my head that Mandalorians or Revan were from that franchise. So when I began watching Star Wars in order to be able to talk to my foster brother about it (his friends in school were still into trains and cars and things like that and he felt sad when my foster-nephew couldn't come over to talk Star Wars), I was really, really surprised when bits of lore tickled my memories. And when Boba and Jango appeared? My brain was blown, and I went on a mad research bender. Imagine my utter *delight* to find out... Revan was a Star Wars character. I may not know every detail, I may not be an intense lore fanatic... I will take the shit for liking that which others do not -- Revan's SWTOR appearance, the Sequels, ALL of the Mandalorian, the Book of Boba Fett -- because Star Wars is something that has been integral to me before I even understood that it was even Star Wars. Many people were given shit for having Mandalorian tattoos when it first came out... I said to myself 'if I ever get a tattoo, it will be a small Clan Mudhorn symbol' because the Mandalorian culture of adoption has been something that helped me as a child understand that I was as much of my foster family as any other child was of their flesh and blood one. Revan's philosophy of light and dark being an uncessary distinction helped me understand that, yes, my mother was a bad person, and yes, she could love us despite all she did wrong. But no, it doesn't mean I have to forgive her, while love can redeem, the other person has to want that redemption.
God that intro with kreia/Darth treya gave me chills also u blended all the fanfilms and games perfectly nothing was randomly added to be too flashy like some fan trailers. tbh this is how Disney should be making SW trailers

I knew mixing together video game footage and live action footage is risky, so I tried my best to blend them together really well and choose a coloring that made them all look similar in style. @@TheWarleader well it really shows most people that make make trailers this good there are a few but because they don't really pay attention or sometimes rush and say people wont pay attention or notice (they always do lol) don't do as good but are still well blended. Idk if u would like me to send a link for examples of what I mean and do a comparison I find that helps most people looking to people who want to always improve

He along with nihlus, maul, malgus, and Babe are, in my opinion, what true sith. As a child we’ve been taught that the sith are villains who use the dark side of the force, but nowadays to me to the sith are actually rebel force sensitives who disagree how both the light and dark should be used. Basically, I like it when a character such as reaven puts themselves as a threat to both sides to show that their is more than two sides to the force rather force is more than light and dark. I have a question that should be easy for anyone that understands Revan. On abilities it is curious that people would find them good or evil, let's step out of Star wars to the real world and gain insight with this question. Person A. Lies cheats and steals. Person 2. risks their safety to deliver food and medical supplies. So which one is good and which one is evil? Oh, one caveat I forgot to mention person A. Is lying cheating and stealing to protect Jews during the Holocaust and person 2. Is making those deliveries to the Nazis, does that change your answer?

Revan is very good, he is my favourite character but a problem for Revan is that he cannot be in one I serie or film because his history comes from the Knights of the Old Republic game, whose story is decided by the player and if only one of the paths is chosen, many plots would be discarded. But still my favourite character and very good video 11/10 :)

You know what’s funny is that while In the game (which I haven’t played at all, but have seen gameplays after learning about him) reaven is defeated he actually achieved the philosophy that the force is single entity of light and darkness, and he does this cause in the gameplay it’s a bunch of characters of Jedi and sith working together to defeat Reaven. You know I see Revan a lot with both of his sabers (Red & Purple) did he give up the red one when he returned to the light? That is actually modded footage of star wars: jedi fallen order (an amazing game!). There's a mod that gives you the darth revan armor and I think there's a voice mod for it to. It was so good I couldn't pass up using some of the footage. It's linked in the description if you're interested ^^
Two reasons: 1. It's cool as hell XD 2. There's just not enough footage of Revan to use with only Canon material Not to mention since Disney acquired star wars technically all of this revan content is not considered canon so 🤷♀️

True, I agree with ya 100%. He was quite possibly the best grey jedi of all time in star wars. He knew that much like how someone cannot have good emotions without bad emotions, you can not have a full understanding of the light side of the force without the dark.

He along with nihlus, maul, malgus, and Babe are, in my opinion, what true sith. As a child we’ve been taught that the sith are villains who use the dark side of the force, but nowadays to me to the sith are actually rebel force sensitives who disagree how both the light and dark should be used. Basically, I like it when a character such as reaven puts themselves as a threat to both sides to show that their is more than two sides to the force rather force is more than light and dark. I have a question that should be easy for anyone that understands Revan. On abilities it is curious that people would find them good or evil, let's step out of Star wars to the real world and gain insight with this question.
Person A. Lies cheats and steals.

So which one is good and which one is evil?

Revan is very good, he is my favourite character but a problem for Revan is that he cannot be in one I serie or film because his history comes from the Knights of the Old Republic game, whose story is decided by the player and if only one of the paths is chosen, many plots would be discarded.

I could still see the film happening, but you are right in that it couldn't be during the main games. But there are still times where Revan has done events we haven't controlled. Like imagine a trilogy that showed off the mandalorian wars? That would be *incredible*

You know what’s funny is that while In the game (which I haven’t played at all, but have seen gameplays after learning about him) reaven is defeated he actually achieved the philosophy that the force is single entity of light and darkness, and he does this cause in the gameplay it’s a bunch of characters of Jedi and sith working together to defeat Reaven. Could be wrong cause In the game Reavens real goal was to defeat lord vicient (idk how to spell his name correctly :/.

What Four sith would you say have the most knowledge of the force?
You know I see Revan a lot with both of his sabers (Red & Purple) did he give up the red one when he returned to the light? I assume he did but I’m still really new to his story and so far a lot of what I see of him (art & videos) he has both and I don’t know when what I’ve seen exactly takes place.

That is actually modded footage of star wars: jedi fallen order (an amazing game!). There's a mod that gives you the darth revan armor and I think there's a voice mod for it to. It was so good I couldn't pass up using some of the footage. It's linked in the description if you're interested ^^

Two reasons:
1. It's cool as hell XD
2. There's just not enough footage of Revan to use with only Canon material
Not to mention since Disney acquired star wars technically all of this revan content is not considered canon so 🤷♀️
