We were there on this day and it was a shame the weather wasn't so good. At one time it was rather cold, damp and miserable, which was a shame ,as these ships look so much better in the sun. I sure about 4.5 minutes into this film i spotted my husband's grey hair and bald spot, and there is a short woman next to him which could be me. Will have to look at my own photos
Owh...no wonder the cadet supervisor who talk at ship PA said "Mast is slippery, be careful on your way up" And about cold plus miserable he also said "Everybody start to move, waving your hand so you not feel cold"

i guess they're well trained and very confident with their ability, so they think those wires are enough for their safety. that ship is their second house howsoever, it's like playing in their own house, nothing to worry about.
