Voted for Trump as well. I am very disappointed as well only 36% voted for Trump. I am from the West side of Oahu, which I believe is where majority of those votes came from. However, I was glad to see there were a couple more Republicans voted into the State seats. I think the biggest hurdle in our state is that it has been instilled generation after generation that Democrats are for the people and Republicans are for the rich, white businessman. I believe the people of Hawaii need to tell themselves pay attention to the actions of our politicians and NOT what comes out of their mouths!!! I have always lived with the motto “actions speak louder than words”. The older generations should encourage our younger generations to vote for people based on who will improve the conditions of our state rather than base it on loyalty to a certain political party, be it Democrat or Republican. Let’s teach our younger generations that their vote does matter and that their vote is their voice!!!

Hawaii democrats are not the same as the mainland democrats. Hawaii supports whoever will care about the community. Old mainland democrats used to be for the people. Trump is a tough sell for Hawaii because the personalities are opposite. Hawaii people are respectful, humble, and not blunt vs. Trump is all of that. The type of haoles who get beat up in public schools for talking too much. But one thing Hawaii people like is honest people and Kamala/mainland democrats have shown to be liars and no longer for the people. Another thing is that Hawaii people don't pay attention to the national news as much as the mainlanders, so they are more prone to headlines/clips and are not as educated on details becuz they think it doesn't affect them. Hawaii people don't like mainlanders who are all about money. Trump has shown that he is giving up his personal wealth to support the community of America. If Trump went to Hawaii and more people paid attention, then I could see Hawaii voting for Trump, but for now they just don't care and they don't feel like they make a difference anyways.
Out of control prices for groceries, housing, transportation, utilities, wide open borders, defunding the military and law enforcement, outrageous foreign conflict spending, gender and racial politics, etc. The American people just want relief from the Biden/Harris nonsense over the past 4 years. Like you said in the beginning, locals can all talk race, but more recently it’s taboo cause of mainlanders moving in with Priuses and Teslas and buying up Kahala, and Manoa, and Kaimuki/Diamondhead. Brah I got out of there: too vegan cultish and superficial LA Shanghai now. The outer islands mo bettah. Local people on outer islands have real community cause we all have to know each other it’s that small. Way better. And I’d say 8/10 here are pro Trump. And how could anyone Maui even think of voting Democrat after they got DEW’d and left to die, and then left high and dry with a $750 insult from Democrats that took their land for a 15 min smart city UN plot that Green signed Hawaii up for?! Wake up Hawaii! Should’ve voted for BJ when you had the chance. Lazy Mazy again?!! What did Einstein say the definition of insanity is: doing same thing over and over expectating different results. 🙄
Classical Liberalism is Hawaii style…mainstream Dems consider that Conservative. Would be something if Trump wins…all the 🤯 would be epic.
Im for robbert f kennedy
Interesting.
I live in Canada but we’re very much in tune with what’s happening/goings on in the neighbouring country.
People here are even leaning towards trump in their views.
"It's nice that I can worry about what you call me" hit the nail on the head. She's online too much.
How do you feel about her response - that to not worry about it is a privilege?
@@movingtohawaii I think it would benefit people to have thicker skin and have less of an external locus of control. Basically, what she's saying, to me, is that validation from what's outside matters more. And I don't think sex and a name can be compared.

Hawaii is a huge mess. One party rule for to many years has destroyed that once beautiful state.Still beautiful. However, one big mess in every area of the state. Corruption is well known and not dealt with.

It's too expensive. 2nd highest state income tax: 11%.. And you have none!

What is the percentage of locals to nonlocals that you guys gave houses to? 😭
@@Popo-br8xq 0-0 we have never given anyone a house.
I voted for Trump. I was embarrassed to see only 36% voted Trump. We also only have about 60-65% registered voters. This state decomcrat leadership needs an overhaul.

Part-Hawaiian living in Texas here. Lots of my friends back home are upset about the "nightmare of Mr. Trump being elected again". As for my thoughts, let me put it this way: I'm just glad that I've chosen to live in the Texas Hill Country/Fredericksburg. All of this has put things into perspective for me.

I live here currently and true Hawaiians I believe are red for the most part but the government here is super corrupt and encourages Cali people to move to the cities here so Hawaii will never be red sadly
The chick in the black hat is cute
It’s time to turn Hawaii RED!!
Trump2024!! Lets go!!🙏🇺🇸🤙
Trump 2024 Yessah Blessah Nevah Stressah
Maybe Hawaii would change if we did more videos like these! Maybe people would hear what locals say, and see it ain’t as they tv tells us it is, and maybe then people start being less reserved about saying what needs to be said so Hawaii can be great again! Cause we all know that the last 25 years has not been good to Hawaii. It has not gotten better at al anywhere. Just get run down, more crime, more expensive, more dangerous, dirtier, more homeless, more polluted, more traffic, people gotta have more jobs. Hawaii needs to be honest and have an honest discussion. It ain’t like taxes are light here, so how come the people NEVER SEE IT??!!
@@mikeuptegrove understood. This is literally just who we found in a short few hours though. Would’ve voiced more strong left opinions if we found them
@ exactly. Every paddler I know, Every surfer I know, 8 of of 10 locals I know, are not Democrats. Only democrats I know are transplants here to do yoga and eat salad bar at Wholefoods. And if a local I know says they’re democrat, the things coming from their mouths ain’t democrat. So, it’s never made sense to me, sorta like the magical 13 million votes Biden got last election when he magically came back from behind, that didn’t magically appear again this time that everyone’s starting to asking questions about now: Biden got 81 million votes with barely 500 county wins??? Math says that’s a lie. Hawaii stay rigged too. Or it’s just there’s more government workers than not, voting for their pensions while forcing the rest of their family members to move to Vegas. 🙄
Thats bs
@@hawaiianmade808 what is?
@movingtohawaii just all the corruption hawaii political party's in the Capitol say. We just tired of the transplants and all the democrats who work together to make hawaii just like where they came from. As you can see, we Hawaiians decided to vote for Trump! #hawaiiansfortrump
Making more money now because u selling all the homes online by photos to wealthy people and in a way very much contributing to the problem, I work in a townhouse complex with 83 homes and every one I seen bought and sold in the past few years haven’t even been opened to be viewed, new owners move in then complain to me that the photos made it look different when they bought, it they sell and the process repeats itself so I’m sure your pockets getting fat

Look at Maui 750dollars for victims wake up lets learn now. Our political views we are so thankful for Trump.
The fact is the responsible Americans have spoken by their vote. The majority vote, electoral vote, Senate and strong possibility of the House of Representative are to the Right. The voters said move over Left, you failed miserably. Even the MSM, celebrities and crooked poles could not curb the disappointment of the majority. Non voters are irrelevant. Uwaha, no action. Waist time people.
The Right has no excuses now. Make pudding! Or get kicked to the street as the Left deserved this election.
Quit complaining and being a Victim. Too many out there. Be a SOLUTION, not problem for our America. Be a giver, not a taker.
BTW you live in Paradise. No place like Hawaii. Unique place on the globe and needing unique thinking to solve Hawaii's challenges. IT CAN BE DONE!

@@Tina_Williams grew up with a mahu brother 🙋♂️
…thank you for the video. Mind blown anyone would vote for a convicted felon…
Out of control prices for groceries, housing, transportation, utilities, wide open borders, defunding the military and law enforcement, outrageous foreign conflict spending, gender and racial politics, etc. The American people just want relief from the Biden/Harris nonsense over the past 4 years. Precisely why Trump won in a landslide!
