We have been praying for you, Robert and your family. We are so glad to see you and that you are doing well. Looking forward to seeing you guys in some family RV camping content. Thank you for opening your life and letting us in to the process of some of it. We miss you guys, stay safe.
I'm happy to see you on here again...and well and smiling. You are a trooper. I couldn't imagine how tough chemo would be. Thanks for sharing your story to us all. 💜
Hi Jessica, I’ve followed you guys for years, and I’ve prayed for you from day one of your illness. I’m so proud of you and everything that you’ve endured. You’re a gracious woman of God and such a mighty warrior of Christ. I’ll continue to pray with you until your healing arrives. In the mighty name of Jesus. Sending hugs and prayers to you all.
I've just been diagnosed. I hear from alot of people I have a pretty high chance of getting completely cured and cancer free, but I'm honestly still so scared.
It's a scary process. Focusing on health and healing are important, but acknowledging your feelings is important too. Find someone to talk to about them and do things that lift your spirits. For me, it was a lot of prayer and Bible study followed by lots of laughter. I'm 3 years post diagnosis and I'm still working through everything I went through. 💗💗
Jess, Robert & kiddos, you've all held your faith & dealt with such a trial. Praises to our God for healing you Jess & you're looking Shiny woohoo. Life is always a prayer from something better. Love ya's xoxoxoxo
❤ I am so happy to hear you are doing better, I can't say "I know what your going thru" because I don't. I cant say "how sorry I am for you" because there is nothing to pity you about. What i do want to say is...You are strong, You are beautiful, You are kicking butt and I want to be one of your cheerleaders and support you however I can.❤❤❤
I'm happy that you are doing better. I've been recently diagnosed with low grade B-cell lymphoproliferative disorder. I have a lump in my neck. I was super scared to start the treatments but after watching your video, it eased my worries. I'm still not convince about the needle in the chest!!! You received it like a champ! Keep up the good fight! 👍
@Exploring the Local Life Hello friend, I'm doink ok, still working hard every day, praying and hoping my leukemia doesn't get worse and my lymphoma doesn't reappear.. living day by day. I was in for test lately, and my white blood cells are lower than normal. So I'm waiting to see what's is the next step is. Just trying to stay focus. Have a good week!
@NEVVIE87 Hi, thanks for asking. It's been almost 2 years now since radiation. No new lumps ever reappeared, which is a good thing. I just came back for a morning fishing trip on the lake.. just enjoying every extra day. Take care.
Thank you for posting what it is like to receive chemo. I have a biopsy next week to see if I have lymphoma. If I do have it and I need chemo, I feel less scared now. Is the 24 hour chemo infusion the norm? How do you fit in a shower during the week if you have a chemo bag attached and or a bone marrow medication attached to your stomach? Should I count on spotty showers during the week of treatment? Also, did you ever develop an infection or viral infection during treatment? I’m so glad to see you doing well today and you had some nice thick hair growing when this was filmed!
Hey! There were two options for me. This one avoided radiation at the end, so that's why I chose it. I didn't shower that whole week. I just did sponge baths. I got sick towards the end of my chemo. I went to the beach with a friend and our kids and got it from one of them. Otherwise I was OK. Thank you. I'm here if you have other questions. jessica@walkandpaddle.com

Hi. I'm sorry that you have to go through this too. I didn't have any real side effects. TMI - but I did get through menopause because of it. Other than that, I pretty much came out ok. But it has taken 4 yours of workouts, yoga, nutrition, etc.

Hello why did you have so many chemo days ? My mom was told to do 3 chemo days a month. For 6 months
Hi. I did all that chemo to avoid radiation. I hope your mom is doing ok. 💕🥹
Thank you starting chemo next week 6 sessions 1 every 3 weeks I am 78 so that means me praying my age will able to take it
WHAT KIND OF CHEMO DID YOU HAVE, I' LL BE GOING SOON FOR MINE, CONSIDERING MY AGE I AM AFRAID NOT TO RESIST IT.
This may sound horrible, but I don't know. Robert really was the one that knew all the details of my care and chemo.
I have non hodgkin lymphoma [NHL]
My hair will come back 😢 😔 after chromatography
Do you have any reactions to chromatography or side affects
