Have you tried the Palawan Chaolong there in Puerto Princesa? It's like the Filipino style version of Pho. They have a beef version if you don't prefer to eat pork. The Laing is made of taro leaves, coconut cream and chillies, it's really delicious.
I did try it! So that night we went to this little local spot because Alan wanted a sandwich and I saw they made some on French bread. I wanted soup and so I ordered one and when it came I thought wow this looks like pho and then looking at his sandwich thought huh that looks like banh mi. I immediately looked up Vietnamese in the Philippines and discovered their influence here. I love learning things like this through food.
Omgosh, Ayngelina! This overseas trip has been amazing and seems to get better. I've never been inspired to visit anywhere on that side of the world. Now I do! Thanks for the best tour❤.
I really want to get back to Mexico soon. But first we need to get Alan a Canada visitor visa and Mexico will give him on in return. But getting into Canada is so hard.
Oh we have zero plans to live in Canada - there are no houses and that’s not an understatement but if he gets a Canadian tourist visa Mexico will honor that as well so will Cuba I think. It opens up Latin America as right now he can only travel in most South American countries but to travel there is super tricky with transits and it makes it so expensive
This looks amazing! I’m claustrophobic but this is so open it doesn’t seem to feel like a cave! (If it’s not too personal, is the video mirror image or are you wearing a wedding band now? Ignore if needed, but just caught my eye and got a little excited! 😊 Of course, it’s amazing to see you guys together regardless.)
I’m claustrophobic too I think because I’m so short I’m not used to small spaces. And no wedding band 😊 I do have rings and I think the one you saw I normally wear on my middle finger but with the heat my fingers have been swelling so I had to move it. Honestly I barely got it off and was worried I’d have to cut it.
@@ayngelina Oh goodness, my dad had to cut a ring off my finger once after I got home from band camp in August here in Tennessee. Glad you didn't have to do it! If it happens again, dip your finger/hand in a glass of ice water with a little salt as long as you can stand it, kind of like the speedy way to ice a bottle of wine. 🙂
I like this idea! Honestly you’ll see over the next 4-6 weeks I share how hot it’s been in SEA this spring, people all over have been telling me it’s unusual to have 40-45C and we’re so tired of it. Next spring I’m going to plan better. But we’re finally heading back to Indonesia and I’ve gotten an Airbnb in Bandung which is in the mountains so 27C and I want to stay for at least a month and catch up on my website and just enjoy not sweating all day 🥵
Ehhhhhhhh, that's it? Very undearwhelming. It's probably so hyped because it's an underground river, but aside from that, I saw nothing spectacular inside. Not to mention how stressful it seems to visit. Thanks for sharing. I can cross this place off my list. Apparently until recently, you weren’t allowed to take pictures of it, so I never knew what it looked like
So I wouldn’t discount it if you’re there. Sometimes don’t translate to video and because of the wildlife there’s no lighting in the cave other than the guides headlamp. We saw a lot of cool things but on video it would have been boring.
These caves are quite impressing !! I'm shocked by the color of the water everywhere in Philippines.
Wait until you see next weeks video when we go island hopping

Bathroom breaks are crucial!😅 Nice to get away from the pollution of Manila! Great river. Jesus, Mary, and Sharon!😂 Interesting buffet!
Next episode is all nature but man that cough lingered for weeks!

It’s such an underrated country, the beauty here just doesn’t stop.
Hello A & A, wow, bagus sekali! Feel better. Take care.
Thank you so much!
Caves are awesome, but they're even better underwater
Like cenotes?
@@ayngelina yes,exactly!!😁

@@ayngelina I've heard Canadian life is getting rougher these days. Perhaps a move to Mexico is in order, there should be a lot more room there now 😄
