I've never been big on fuzz pedals until now. Absolutely love the way this pedal sounds and feels. The sound is quite full when I add a 5th and blend it slightly under. I like how it clips so it doesn't sound muddy and flubby. Every day I can't wait get home from the office to jam out. Thank you! I've been inspired to write new tunes.
Robert very generously sent me one several weeks back. Loads of fun. The options it provides, via simple switch combinations, are well thought-out, substantial and useful. The variable ramp time and momentary function, for the pitch-shifter side, allow one to play "normal", step on the pitch switch (set to momentary) and have harmonies fade/ramp in to a held chord or note. Nice! And it may seem like a banal sort of thing to tout, but the sloped enclosure and location of the footswitches near the front, makes use of the momentary functions easy and comfortable. Of course, this will be only one of the reasons for it to be parked along the *front* row of your pedalboard! I only have two complaints, amidst all the reasons for thumbs up. The Detune is a lovely chorus, and even does the DC-2 thing reasonably well in dual mode. Most choruses can be converted to vibrato by simply cancelling the dry signal. While the Octa-Psi allows for dry-cancel in pitch-shift mode (as Robert illustrated), unless I'm missing something, that doesn't apply to the Detune. So, it may be sitting there, waiting its opportunity, but at the moment no vibrato option (and if anyone can guide me on what switch combinations actually DO make it happen, let me know). The other thing is that the fuzz side provides SO much level boost that I find the Level control only useful between 7:00 and *maybe* 10:00. If you're trying to hurt your Crown or McIntosh power amp, the fuzz side WILL do it, but that's a small market niche. Same gain but a bit less volume might be good. Now, neither of these are dealbreakers, or any sort of reason to diss the pedal or abandon it. They're just perhaps things that might be changed when subsequent issues are produced; not much different than any other pedal in that respect. Apart from that, a very useful pedal with a *great* deal of flexibility and usability built in. You'll find yourself frequently thinking "Jeez, I didn't realize it could do *that* ". That's the sort of thing that makes the price of any pedal seem more and more reasonable, every day you use it. Some ponies know one trick, and others win a LOT of races. Finally, I'm still not clear on what the M and P stand for in the various pitch-shift modes, and it's never explicitly stated. Should I assume "mono" and "poly", for only one additional note and up to 2 or 3 additional notes?
Brett Papa teased us with this 2 months ago, so I had to make space on my pedal board for it. He described your new creation as EPIC. September 24th just as you said! Mine is on order and waiting to join my Keeley collection (which seems to keep growing). Looking forward to it!
Come on! I'm trying to downsize my board and then you do this?? I already had to move some things around to get my Fuzz Bender on the smaller board... You're too good, Mr. Keeley.
I love how well thought out this pedal is? It is a genius design. I bought a Beetronix Zombee awhile back, which is a cool pedal, but the UI isn’t as intuitive and clear as this. I think I’m going to be super creative with this pedal. Side note-that room full of electronic goodness is killer!

One of the best pedals you can buy. Sounds amazing and very usable

So cool... just ordered one. Thanks for building it!
PS mad props on having the Undertone UnFairchild in your studio. Amazing!
This is SO up my alley. Ordered on the spot! Thanks for making this!
Simply CANNOT wait for mine to arrive!
Congrats on the new release my friend.

So it’s his take on an EHX Big Muff and Pitch Fork tweaked a bit in one case.
Awesome
How does this pedal behave after buffers?
Amazing! I see no potential to use it in my music but I want it anyway :D

Punk Rock tried to destroy The Metal.
