Great comment from Michael about Keeley factory: "...all your employees love being here and love what they do" (1:41). From personal experience with the folks in Keeley service -- it's totally true.
Great video as always Michael and the minimalist statement makes totally sense , i am a gear head , the shelves are overloaded , the drawers with RJM gizmos are packed but ironically for live gigs I use a MXR 90, Proco Rat and recently an Halo , strat and a BF deluxe reverb , lesser is better when play live IMO , makes you more focussed on the playing and not so much worried about the knobs , greetings from Thailand
RK, obviously a fantastic guy, MP too. RK is really still bringing new ideas to a saturated market of pedal designs. Haven’t actually played one of his pedals yet, but I’m sure i will have one on the board one day.
Great video EXCEPT I couldn't follow the conversation about the Noble Screamer as the switches were changed so I wish you could post pics of the pedal and where the toggles are for the different sounds as Michael plays.
It sure is! Custom made one-off 'Canyon Falls' 4 6v6 2x12 resin cabinet. The bottom lights up too, I just don't have it plugged in to conserve electricity.
Wonderful! Amazing! Outstanding! Mr Keeley… you take my breath away every time when you announce new pedal. Recently I bought Halo… And it’s pure magic! And now Nobel/Screamer uhhh it’s something that I really want. I’ve got one question. What version of dark side stands on your table? Is it something new too?
What Version Of The Dark Side Is On My Night Stand? Ah but it's not only the Dark Side, it's the Loomer too! Both are so successful and have bright futures in V2-ing them. The next gen ds is stereo, independent fuzz, modulation/gazie, and delay/verb switching, ext/int tap tempo, exp cntrl, end mounted jacks, and it has to be reasonably priced, did i forget anything?
True story: I wanted to take an Internet IQ Test, but decided to get suuuuper stoned first. Just so I could have the upper hand. I took it and scored a 142. When I started to look at how they scored the test, I had pretty good scores in ever category of intelligence, except one, my computational speed... I was like at a 5 year old level, I kid, but seriously, it was like a tenth of my score in other categories, it was that off. Told you the weed would work! ;-) So, when I skewed the statistics in my favor once again, and gave myself an 'average' score in the speed category, reverse engineered their equations for calculating an Intelligence Quotient, and I coulda/shoulda/woulda got a score of 148. Which would be outta sight, man! |-)~'
I am the proud owner of pedals that have Robert’s signature inside two knob compressor. Java boost. Modded bd2. Modded DS2. Modded tube screamer. He is good guy who makes awesome pedals
@@RobertKeeleyTV Bless your heart. Haha. Definitely looking forward to it! It's funny, I was for real just going to get a TS to stack with my ODR1... but your NS gives me more options, saves me board space, and sounds amazing to boot! Cheers!
The omni is low key that most incredible reverb pedal. every mode sounds authentic and is incredibly diverse in sound. its the most powerful 2 knob pedal in existence. total sleeper
I think everybody is kinda over it honestly, it just has that range of compression possible. Trey Anastasio has used Ross Compressors and he doesn't have an overcompressed country guitar sound (all of the time) ;-) Adrian Belew has used one for decades on his guitar. Swears by it. None of his guitar work sounds like overcompressed country sounds. Walter Becker of Steely Dan had 8, one of every colour you like. You can take the time to set up a wonderful tone with it. And if that doesn't work, try our GC-2 or Comp Pro. Either of those two are noiseless and of extreme fidelty. They are limiting amplifier compressors. Very different.
Man i would love to hear the guys from @thatpedalshow try to turn Michael into a sucker for gear! Great Video, you are a legend Robert!
I'm a student of Michael's, an avid Keeley fan, a TS enthusiast, and I got this comin in the mail!
love it!
Great comment from Michael about Keeley factory: "...all your employees love being here and love what they do" (1:41). From personal experience with the folks in Keeley service -- it's totally true.
Robert Keeley + Michael Palmisano = Amazing. What gentlemen!!! Can't wait until mine arrives. Great work to Mr Keeley.
What a great conversation between two positive, passionate guys with some real insight into Robert's creations.
++Thank You++
I haven’t bought any pedal in many years but I just got a Noble Screamer! It’s four really usable sound sources in a single pedal! Thanks
Great video! I love how passionate Robert is about his designs, master! Michael's face at the end says it all.
Don't ya just love Micahael's face? I spend a high percentage of my video watching time, just enjoying his faces. ;-) *-) 8~()
This was pure fun to watch…great pedal Robert, the Nobels Screamer rocks!
The finish/grahics/colors on the Noble Screamer pedal are really classy looking. Kudos to the design and graphics teams!
So great!! This was a great video
Great sounds, congrats Robert. Fabbo playing Michael, the lessons have started paying off at last :o))
This is so freaking awesome! How robert is telling about his fantastic work! And the quality and then the vibe of the video, super ❤
Robby Harris does a great job capturing all the sights and sounds!
Interesting and informative as well as a few laughs great video and some outstanding pedals very cool RK 👍
thank you sir!
great stuff - thanks guys!
It's really good to see two knowledgable people enjoy sharing a common passion.
My two favorite musical authorities coming together. Very cool. Glad to see you getting down with some pedals Michael.

Fantastic sounds and playing, congrats on the new pedal - sweet Tele 😎

thanks so very mcuh!
I just bought his compressor pedal. Haven’t tried it yet but sure it’ll be good!
Id love to try that new Nobel Screamer at my next rehearsal. It sounds fantastic.
I love my Keeley, Caverns Delay Reverb pedal!
Great video!
Great video EXCEPT I couldn't follow the conversation about the Noble Screamer as the switches were changed so I wish you could post pics of the pedal and where the toggles are for the different sounds as Michael plays.
This is cool. But tell me about this incredible matchless back there?!? Is that resin?

Killer playing Michael these sound amazing

Wow… i have to work harder because I need a lot of money for your pedals 😃 Can’t wait new dark side!
Robert is low key a genius. Unreal

Utah - get me two!! ✌

Right On! Thank You!
ahhh, that OG Fuzz Head chilling on that tweed amp!
Michael needs a TELE!!! Great pedals Robert!!
I prefer the old 4 knob compressor over the one here, I owned the pro and couldn’t find the sweet spot. Is the old model still available
I wish I could have the external tap tempo and expression pedal both used on the halo. That's my only complaint with it.
The Carr Rambler is an amazing amp.
Damnit... another one I have to get. Brilliant, I must say.
don't be mad, but i have 3 more coming end of january...

Those tones are insane…
Wish I could see what he’s doing with the knobs
The omni is low key that most incredible reverb pedal. every mode sounds authentic and is incredibly diverse in sound. its the most powerful 2 knob pedal in existence. total sleeper
I had an old school 2 knob Keeley compressor the one that they don’t make anymore that I sold for nothing and I always kick myself for it…
I could play any gig with these 3 pedals and a Wha ;-)
Are those Tube Drivers behind Robert 🤔
Good eye!!!! Yes, yes indeed they are!!!!
@@RobertKeeleyTV for a project in the future?
Dan form TPS AND Andy Timmons ?? Honk the horn !
The bridge looks like a Thorn Brass Knuckles.
Michael just changed his mind about pedals and opened up a Reverb account after this session with Robert ... yup he's a goner now like the rest of us
so funny! ;-)
The pedal is listening.
I was sincerely hoping he was going to break into Run Like Hell during the ducking explanation
Look at the price of a record compared to the compressor.... Safe to say gold haha
Andy timmons didn't come up with this sound..its out years..Andy summers...the edge..dave gilmour.. even hank Marvin was doing it before them...
hate that overcompressed country sound. i know others like it. but it doesn't sound like a guitar anymore. 1/3 as much maybe.
