Gig jobs nowadays are like regular jobs without insurance benefits, no health and no obligation by the company to pay you anything but you get to pay your own expenses and risk your car. honestly it sucks maybe it worked during the pandemic nowadays a regular job at least gives you a steady income and some benefits. plus the companies running the business do what is best for them and their investors , the workers are the least of their concerns since there will always be people willing to work for pennies.
How do you sign up for the DoorDash Parcel service? I got a random text with a link to sign up everyday for a chance at those big orders, I’ve used the same link for 3 months since then but now the link is expired and I can’t get access to those orders anymore. I’m a top dasher with almost 5k deliveries
Uber ride share is way better than restaurant delivery here in Savannah, Georgia. Almost constant surge pay and quests twice a week. $25-$30/hr with virtually no waiting time.
Top dasher has been okay for me so far but every now and then I’ll just start getting trash orders back to back so I just end the dash and hop on Uber eats
Uber/ Dasher here! I totally agree with trying rideshare. It could be very advantageous over delivery. I started off doing UberEats until things slowed way down and I was forced to try it. I found out really quick that you could get paid more much quicker delivering people. The only disadvantage with Uber rideshare is higher milage than delivery. I've made the most money doing rideshare than anything else. Not to mention I never had any bad experiences.
@@josegarza7719 Amazon Flex is popular in my area so if I get anything worth working for then it’s great. When I started Amazon Flex it was easy to get a route. Now I have to push the confirm button and later cancel if I don’t want it just to get a route.
I would do ride share, but my car is a Ford Fiesta. Technically I could use it for that, but the backseat is so small it wouldn’t be ideal. Once it’s paid off though I might look into a Civic or a Corolla which would be way better for it, but we’ll see. On the other hand, the Fiesta is so good on gas mileage it’s actually really good for food delivery.
. .. only good thing with earn by time is that you keep getting paid while waiting in traffic and at pickup if order is not ready ... Goes up an up ... Per. Order can be good with sudden orders coming in at a high dollar amount , with peak pay added too .. I do per order .. I use to do per. Hour. .. I find per. Order is better .. 🤔🚗
My area is actually smaller than yours, so I generally will drive up to and over 30 minutes away for active hot spots. I'm in rural Oregon, and the two largest areas near me are Portland and Salem. Honestly, I avoid Portland like the plague as it has like six regular zones in it, and those orders can get seriously crazy, and the parking sucks. I find Salem which though is pretty spread out, has better activity, and less drivers to soak up all of the orders. I also like working bankers hours as that's when the least amount of drivers are on the road. I don't get a lot of big orders, but I do get a fair amount of Pizza and Catering Orders for businesses. And when the boss orders in lunch for a meeting or what ever, there is always a decent tip. For those, I often get pickups from places like Panera Bread, Baja Fresh, and Chipotle's. These places are great, but they stealth the orders, you need catering bags for the photo, but they box and bag up the items enough that you actually don't need them. I've actually had orders from Chipotle and Panera Bread that were so large that more than one driver came in for the pickup, and we each made a hundred bucks in tips... other ones I've delivered for office parties, and Door Dash offered me more money to do the food set up like a real caterer. and even more tip by the customer if I would stay and help out for the event. I stayed clear for the clean up, and made $400 bucks, I had to call DD and tell them that this catering order needed me to stay, and that I would be off the clock for the duration of the catering event. For this, I was under the DD Catering contract, and I made sure everyone important knew that I was not a regular caterer, but that I was happy to be of assistance. I hope this helps, as you've been an inspiration for me for a number of years now. Mitch.
Tier I am all 98% past and I get way less so it’s not the same. I can’t see schedule I am stuck in gold. And can’t schedule if I do. I get 30 minutes that’s it. ;(
They are doing away with top dasher. Now you have to keep your orders at 100 every thirty days to dash whenever you want. It’s no longer 100 by the end of the month. As it is rn I can’t dash if it isn’t busy
Getting top dasher is only ok for the dash now anytime feature. Otherwise you are stuck at scheduling. However now with the tier system DoorDash has is most markets now even top dasher doesn’t work anymore. In the top dasher program you only have to qualify for by end of every month. In this tier program you must maintain top dasher stats AT ALL TIMES! As soon as you drop below 70% acceptance you IMMEDIATELY lose the ability to dash now whenever you want AND can no longer schedule in advance.
I was not top dasher last month and I got the WORST orders! I’m top dasher this month and the orders are exponentially better! I’m making on average $24-$28/hr!
Pretty much all income is considered taxable, unless it is paid "under the table". Some examples of that are; a lot of babysitting jobs, someone needs your help moving, and pays you cash, pretty much any work you can do where you don't give your social security number.
@@dmreddragon6 "Under the table" just means hiding it from the IRS. It's still all taxable, if they catch you, which was the point of making all banking transactions over $600 reportable to the IRS.
Stop, stop, stop, STOP accepting orders (on any app) that are less dollar amounts of miles times two. $10 for five miles: yes $10 for 10 or even 7 miles? No! STOP allowing and incentivizing these people to continue this nonsense! Every time you do this you hurt yourself and every gig worker!
I have too much anxiety to do ride share even though I signed up for it 😅 I love doing deliveries, I agree it’s getting hard out there. Being a top dasher, or having a high acceptance rate doesn’t matter to me, at least in my market.
Going to different areas is absolutely a viable solution, people flock to busier areas to get their bag. If you are in a busy area as a cherry picker, you will see less when diamond tier people come to your area. I bite the bullet and drive to a state over because they basically always have +$3 peak pay promo at all times and if im lucky i can bang out three $20 shopping runs within an hour and a half, thats solid pay for the gas sacrifice. If you want to even the playing field thats where opportunities become less available to us dashers. I like my freedom more than anything. Anyone who doesnt see the convenience in being able to collect some cash in a pinch is delusional. Gigs arent for successful people who have the time to save, it is better for people who are basically already living paycheck to paycheck and need a some change on the side to get gas and food etc.

mornings 10-15 per hour, afternoon 20 per hour and evening 20-30 per hour, I'm doing more shopping in the San Francisco bay High Price Leader, most places suck but my area works out for me barely, if its busy then subtract 5 bucks per hour for gas, about 3 deliveries per 5 bucks a gallon gas, this is meager living and I'm suppose to feel guilty for asking 2-3 dollars per mile. I'm always looking for 6 dollars minimum 2 miles and at least 12.50 for 5 miles, Prop 22 gets you 120% of minimum wage plus miles for active time Only and after gas your earning minimum wage to trash your own car, This is not making a living. Every time minimum wage goes up so does the Rent and cost of living, wage increase is never any gains.

I see alot of people moving to Michigan from all over Texas,Florida, illinois,Pennsylvania, Colorado all dashers I don't understand it you would take A chance moving hernandez oversaturate like other states
I think it depends location I dash in East Providence Fall River new Bedford area in mass/ri I’m averaging 25$ a hour 800$ weeks it’s been nice over here
Worcester has tier I used to be top dasher. I got the best score but it’s not worth it.
I used to make that but can’t now. :( I can work 20 hours and hit 1k
I’m seeing 26 dollars an hour in Columbia sc before expenses
I used to deliver here when i went to usc and was making $800 weekly doing uber and doordash
Oh nice! That’s awesome!
They also keep sending you the same order even though you’ve declined it I literally got the same one a minute apart and I called them out on it and they’re like we can’t control that I’m like well. It shouldn’t count as to declined for the same order, unless you make it a better offer or something as different about itI’m basically declining offer. I’ve already declined but it counts twice. What’s the stock just sending it to you 100 times in a row and you either have to take it or you get down to 0%
You also need more insurance when you transport people versus food…
I remember when it all started..i wanted to do Lyft..they didnt approve because of that weird lie on my background check. Ever since...ive never done rideshare.
How do you sign up for those programs, once in awhile? I'll go on to the main website just to look at some stats or some updated information, but I've never seen these programs before. Where do I go?
Thursday, I started doing Ubereats and I wasn't breaking even. I was little iffy about rideshare, but I turned Uber X on and made 500 dollars.
I’m a top dasher with almost 5k deliveries
maybe if the delivery apps would put a range from resturaunt limit
I just wish they had a tier for people doing 300+ deliveries a month. It wouldn't change anything for part timers and help out the full timers
What if you get deactivated
Uber ride share is way better than restaurant delivery here in Savannah, Georgia. Almost constant surge pay and quests twice a week. $25-$30/hr with virtually no waiting time.
On the acceptance rate point i have accepted every order since starting my account an i can say i have at least seen pay go up more consistently
I stay at 70-80% ar so im platinum without accepting shitty orders only good ones just have to know how to work the system
How does a person sign up for the large order program? I thought the only way to get in, was, a dasher has to be invited by DD.
I am at 19.01 an hour for my first week and I take almost all of my dashes but yesterday I denied 4 out of 8 and it went down to 64% it sucked
These Gigs Are My Way Out Of The Rat Race And Being My Own Boss Where I Call The Shots
I barley had orders with 40% and I got it to 70% and now I got way more orders my tip is take every order the least I’ll accept is a dollar a mile
I do Amazon Flex. I made more money in one day then I do DoorDash in a week.
In cadana or US?
Too bad that’s not available in my area
@@xRayP USA
@@josegarza7719 Amazon Flex is popular in my area so if I get anything worth working for then it’s great. When I started Amazon Flex it was easy to get a route. Now I have to push the confirm button and later cancel if I don’t want it just to get a route.
They keep sending me a couple pizza orders even tho I don’t have a verified pizza carrier. 🤔
Earn by time for end of month TD grind is decent. Catering orders are usually OP.
What are the acronyms you’re using so people are clued in.
TD - TOP DASHER
OP- OVERPOWERED
AR - ACCEPTANCE RATE
DD - DOOR DASH
How do you invest in the stock market? Everyone says to invest but I don't know what website to go to or how to do it.
Google it.
Google is your friend.
Do not move to another state to do DoorDash, what kind of advice is that
i was just gonna say the same thing lmao. relocating for doordash is insanity ahahaha !!!!!
I do by time and with tips, pull $17 - $23 per shift hour. Problem is Im only getting 2 - 4 hrs a day.
Thank you
My area is actually smaller than yours, so I generally will drive up to and over 30 minutes away for active hot spots.
Mitch.
Im on ue, dd, spark, shipt, roadie, and veho. I only do gig work on the weekends.
From now on don’t decline orders let the time run out that way you can keep your acceptance rate up
Good information but he has made this type of video before. The image was click bait
As many content creators are doing talking about all these platforms. All for the clicks to get paid lol......
Utah is a nice area man. I’m in Lexington Kentucky. It’s not bad where I’m at. If I do a rideshare i won’t do it past 8 or 9 pm.
Resort/tourist areas have crossed my mind.
As it is rn I can’t dash if it isn’t busy
do you need comercial insurance to do rideshare on california?
You need it if you expect coverage, but it's not required by any of these companies.
Hi Blake, totally off topic, I'm sorry but do you know what happened to Nuggs?
Getting top dasher is only ok for the dash now anytime feature. Otherwise you are stuck at scheduling. However now with the tier system DoorDash has is most markets now even top dasher doesn’t work anymore. In the top dasher program you only have to qualify for by end of every month. In this tier program you must maintain top dasher stats AT ALL TIMES! As soon as you drop below 70% acceptance you IMMEDIATELY lose the ability to dash now whenever you want AND can no longer schedule in advance.
Oh wow i havent heard of this tier system so far in my matket they arent doing that i have top dasher this month and my current acceptance rate is 57%
I dash in a city in Montana and i make goid money
I was not top dasher last month and I got the WORST orders! I’m top dasher this month and the orders are exponentially better! I’m making on average $24-$28/hr!
Lemme just throw 10k into some stocks. Idk why i never thought to do that. Or shit, just move! This is comedy gold right here, bro.
Number four is kind of wine leading the blind it’s like yeah try all these things they might work I don’t know
Bro I’m at 46 ar. They want me to go 14 miles for 7. One time I couldn’t get ANY orders in 4 days. I switched to Uber and spark and it’s way better
@Moore Drivin I was just wondering is the money you make from TH-cam considered taxable income also like it is with DoorDash?
All income of any kind is considered taxable.
So what do I Need to make those videos and where do I edit those videos?
A phone or a camera, and I’d suggest CapCut or IMovie to edit them
I love being a top dasher
Whatever was on that poster must not be allowed on TH-cam.
In fairness, there are markets where you can be out 12 straight hours and see maybe 6 orders that good. At that point you might as well just get a W2.
This is the most sense this guy has ever made on his channel.
Rare
So…zero?
Thank you my two favorite tips Buy stock Create content . I’ve been reluctant to do it but I think I’ll try it out.
I have too much anxiety to do ride share even though I signed up for it 😅
I love doing deliveries, I agree it’s getting hard out there.
Uber eats has picked up back to $200 on a Monday in my market .
Just 2 months ago it was a struggle
To make $8
Maybe it cuz I’m so sexy ? I’m bringing the customers .
I swear 😂
I’m barely making $100 per week with DD and I work at least 6 days per week, 10 hrs per day
Do u mean $1000 per week? You said $100
Nope. I meant $100
@@MarkoAnzio whaaaaaa? how is that possible? are you taking all $2 orders?
No. My AR is 15%. It’s a combo of the priority access program and my market is over-saturated with drivers, specifically illegals that use multiple accounts.
thats what i had to do with uber eats, is drive like 30mins out and do uber eats and i went from like $16 an hour to $20+ and hour and making $100 a day profit
Top Dasher doesn't matter since they lowered base pay to $2
mornings 10-15 per hour, afternoon 20 per hour and evening 20-30 per hour, I'm doing more shopping in the San Francisco bay High Price Leader, most places suck but my area works out for me barely, if its busy then subtract 5 bucks per hour for gas, about 3 deliveries per 5 bucks a gallon gas, this is meager living and I'm suppose to feel guilty for asking 2-3 dollars per mile.
I do OK as a top dasher. Spending money for me.
They’re doing away with top Dasher anyways they just ended it here now. It’s platinum gold and silver.
It's great to see content that provides practical solutions and positive ways to navigate through tough situations. We sent you an email, please take a look.
I started dashing last month in Southern California Riverside/San Diego County.. No earn by time here offered.. I know what times to schedule and were to go ..im 72 dashes away from Top dashing next month of April .. I do all maintenance on my own vehicles.. It’s getting me through truck driving school .. after that im done probably
I love that you have a goal in mind. I set myself in agreement with your mission. All the best to you in 2024🎉
Youll make more with a cdl, forsure. Just to tolerate company politics and corporate BS....
No Las Vegas DoorDash is trash unless your top dasher they got you going 12 miles for 5 dollars
Also invest crypto or bitecoin. Stop doing delivery app work. And do others even 🚪dash stock options.
I met a millionare when I was a cable tv technician, he played on the daily trader daily, I could hear him complaing how he was down 80k and then later he was happier because he was up 60k, he was a basketball coach in his younger days and made millions off of the daily trader and bought his daughters a dealership.

All good ideas man. Instead of moving, have you ever considered taking a little road trip and trying out neighboring states? May be good for content?
this time of year, if you do uber/doordash/ ect and wanna make some extra money. call every lawncare company in your area. You know what we hate doing. Door Hangers. I'll go up to a few dashers I see when im out and about, give them 30ish dollars and a small stack of door hangers for my business and ask them to put one on the door to the right n left of every delivery they do that day. [yea I know sometimes they take my money and throw the hangers away first chance they get] but saves me a ton of time and usually the pretty happy for some easy money.
Sometimes? I’m guessing most if not all the times.
@@BukowskiQuotes nah they actually do it, cause a large number of my new clients each year give me the flier so they can redeem the discount of their first cut. That said, I dont mind if a majority of them throw the fliers out, The money earned off a new client for the season vs what I spent on the dashers works out well.
Your channel has taken a turn...Can you share what market your in because some of your statements are sus. Other people can make decent money but you can't?
I’m in the northern Utah market. Idk what you’re seeing out there but based on the hundreds of comments I’ve read and the people who come on my live streams most dashers are having a hard time making more than $15/hr
@@Moore.Driven I dash in Portland, OR and there is plenty of offers. IDK who goes on your lives but your channel has the message that DD doesn't work.
I live in Dallas Texas 6hour $40-50 😅 tips are so low ppl are poor here lol
I’m earning like 25-28 an hour in a small town rn haha y’all crazy and I have a 98 Acceptance rate
Being a Top Dasher doesn't help
I like earn by time! 15.50 here and had a 17.50 peak pay on Friday a couple weeks ago! Keeps your AR up too. Yes I’m a top Dasher and take it in the butt lol. Omg👍🏼😁💙
Dont be surprised when the market crashes!!!!! Hence there actions!!!
Move to another state for DoorDash? That's a great idea...🤪
At this point you’re only doing DoorDash for contents purposes cause you know that job sucks my guy
Door Trash is really sucking in 2024.......I've been a top trasher,,I don't see better offers ........all trash, even diamond orders are trash
