I appreciate this video. Umu was the first person that expressed interest to me in partnering up to buy Metazoo. Obviously he since said he's out, and I've had discussions with about half a dozen other potential partners. But let me just elaborate on why I considered him. Yes I've seen his videos, I know he's been negative on Metazoo. But he is a legit lawyer and provided some great legal insights into the process of buying it. He would've essentially been a free lawyer in the process of buying it. He was also willing to go 50/50 in upfront money to buy it only for any hello kitty product and rudy promos, which I thought was more than reasonable. He didn't want to run it, or be the face, or really anything else. He was essentially just offering his help, + capital. I don't really have anything negative to say about him despite his negative videos about metazoo. My only experience with him personally has been positive and he's offered great insight into this whole thing.
I'm pretty sure they are only going in together to buy metazoo purely as a business move and not to actually work together to keep metazoo going. So by pooling their money together it increases their chance of being the winning bid but lowers their risk individually. My guess is they are doing it just to get cheap product. NSP wants the skateboards and Umu wants the rudy promos. They know nothing about running a tcg and are a way odder couple than Mike and Aoki. The IP aint going anywhere if they get it.

Plus he has spent over 2 years shit talking MetaZoo supporters and in his recent videos literally says anyone buying original art work on Bailey's live stream has a low I.Q. and is and idiot. Meanwhile Nick was one of the biggest supporters of buying the original art work lol but Umu did not do any research as usual and had no idea he was talking shit about Nick, but yet wants to partner up with him lol.
