That belt is snapped and that engine could be had it so depends on the damage to it so your Evesham my home town or pershore based?? with it tidy van for £200 but i would try find another engine cheap i don't know alot about diesels engines myself im shocked it dont need welding as most cheap cars do but thats no problem for me good luck with it 👍
I live in Northumberland and there are no bargains in the second-hand van market. High-mileage vans go for exorbitant prices, and most of them are clapped.
I was lucky because nobody want to buy it from this guy. He been advertised it for around £450 quid. I didn`t even need to haggle. He told me just take it away because he needs to clear up space.
@@Jonathan1997hk-ln4yk Wow. That`s very expensive. With fixing the engine and slightly modifying the van. Still cost 1/3 of the price compare to prices in France. I have 120k in mileage in the van that's around 200k in km.
@@Jonathan1997hk-ln4yk Wow. That`s expensive! Good ones sells in the UK for good money as well. Commercial vehicles for whatever reason hold they money very well at the moment.
I bought one of these second hand, the Teepee version with just 18k on the clock. It was the worst vehicle I have ever owned. Nothing but problems after problems.
unfortunately these fiat multijet engines have a cam chain your better of getting recon or second hand engine its at least £1000 for replacement chain.
snapped belt. needs a new belt and cam. the cam lobes can move when the belt snaps but doesn't usually damage the valves
We find out at the episode 😉

Hi. What engine did yours have ? Also can you tell me the problems. So the viewers know what your experience is ?
I wouldn't wish a Peugeot on my worst enemy, pile of crap mate
I do agree with you . But this is based on the Fiat Fiorino. The 1.4 hdi is still a good engine. A lot better than the 1.3 Fiat engine.
Do a compression test if the engine is turning over?
Unfortunately, I haven't got a compression tester. But since I made the second part: th-cam.com/video/WwWYzUQaD0w/w-d-xo.html
More like it’s got no compression where it’s over heated
You are absolutely right ✅️
If belt was snapped it would turn over very quickly…as no resistance 🥴

This is actually a peugeot engine. So this is a 1.4 HDI. Belt drive.
New subscriber here just come across your channel looking forward to seeing the next upload 👍
Welcome onboard :) Next video should be up next week :)
Try giving the glow plugs time to warm up instead of turning the key full over.
Yes you right in normal cases. But was a different issue in the end. Here is part 2 th-cam.com/video/WwWYzUQaD0w/w-d-xo.html
Sounds like timing has gone engine isn’t turning over
Hi. The engine is turning over, and the timing is not snapped.
No diesel.
Was diesel in the fuel tank
Snapped belt
Well, find out on the next upside what happened 😉👍
