I won't say it's artifical, but rather man made, for collecting all the surface water from that city, and the sky does open very very wide above them there and simply unloads, especially in the afternoons!
only English speakers call it Square. The Malay word for it is Dataran (big flat space). It can be any shape. In Dutch is Plein, in Italian is Piazza and other language is Plaza and so on.
malaysians usually don't go out in the middle of the day because of the hot weather..they are indeed asians but their weakness is the heat and they will melt..try to go at night I'm sure there will be a lot of people😁 they are not afraid of spicy but they are afraid of the sun and also fear that the skin will darken..
@@audreyDsouza great! You seem to know a bit about malaysia and malaysians. When did you visit malaysia and for how long? I'm a malaysian. Just came back after 1 year plus being in the UK
On Sunday people in Puterajaya are at IOI City mall aka 1 of the biggest malls in Malaysia because they don't go outside during the day.... It's hot lah.. Go to the mall got aircon 😂
Lol. It's also the administrative capital, and along that main boulevard is where all the federal government offices of all ministries are located, so being a Sunday, there was generally no one going to any of the closed offices. Secondly, the city is a bit far out of KL, so not too many foreign tourists would flock to putrajaya daily
in Malay language, the circle is called Dataran Putrajaya, which translates back to English as Putrajaya Square... ('Dataran' actually literally means flatland, 'segiempat' is the actual translation for square) But, anyhow, after watching this, I do agree with you, it should be called 'Putrajaya Circle/Circus' (org mesia mesti ingat circus tu maksudnya sarkis je kan? hehe... cuba search Piccadily Circus)
I'd avoid circus though. Because at first impression, especially to the majority of people, malaysians or otherwise, it does give the connotation of that circus we all are very familiar with. And even if people are very aware that's not the circus it's meant for, that'd be times when certain not so kind people would make a mockery, equating it to the circus that we all know, in a negative way. I don't think there's any issue with using square if we want to say it in english, but it's advisable to use dataran as its rightful name, and resort to the square only as an explanation or translation
Malaysia also followed and got inspirations from other cities and countries, so there's no need to be too boastful, just appreciate the beauty and serenity and be thankful our country does possess such attractive spots that both we the locals and the foreign tourists can enjoy. Peace ✌️
@@eellhumsalee3765sorry friend, I do not agree with your statement which is not proven. If you can say that means you have to be able to prove it.
