I think you guys are the first youtuber i see that covers all places in peninsular malaysia, from the deep jungle and waterfall in kelantan, from white beaches and islands at eastern coast until the city of malaysia administration...other vloggers just show langkawi, cameron highlands, kl and malacca, those videos are same and boring😅..
Hi Mohamad, sounds like you have watched a couple of our videos, thank you for your support!! We love to venture off the beaten path and discover the true essence of the countries that we visit. It is a such more rewarding experience and Malaysia was no exception!
This year Independence Day parade (31 August) will be held in Putrajaya. Wide road (boulevard) 1km before Palace of Justice towards mini roundabout in front of Pink Mosque is parade will take place. VIP seats will be just in front of Palace of Justice and it is the best spot to witness parade. If you guys still in Malaysia please come to this event.
It would be really spectacular to visit, but alas we will be home in Australia. We got to experience Merdeka last year in KL and it was a massive event!
While it's so awesome to see tourist sing praises of our country when they visit tourist hotspots like KLCC, Batu Caves or much of those big**ss malls, it is just so refreshing to discover your take on Putrajaya, our kinda best kept secret. I'm like 52 now, so naturally I have a soft spot for places like these. I appreciate your featuring Putrajaya and wish that I would see that place again one day
Hi Ainanrahim8101, thank you for your kind words. Yes, we love to step off the well known tourist route to discover amazing places like Putrajaya. We were so surprised when we visited it, it is such a beautiful city, one that all Malaysians should be proud of. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for this wonderful video and for showing your explorations in Putrajaya. It's a beautiful well planned city in Malaysia. What a lovely vlog, brilliant.
You guys did an amazing job with this video. As you guys already probably know, there are many more interesting places and attractions in Putrajaya. Few of them are the botanical garden, Taman Wawasan (fruit orchard garden), Moroccan Pavilion, Malaysia-Chinese Friendship Park etc.
@@BucketListTravellers Yes, I'm quite aware of what it takes to do filming and spend considerable time in editing, good that those time relive your explorations. 😀
In the 90s, we used to have FloraFest. It was an annual event akin to the Pasadena Floral Parade in the US. There were floats made up entirely of fresh flowers like roses, hibiscus, orchids and hydrangeas. The flowers came from the Cameron Highlands in the state of Pahang. It was one of the biggest tourist attractions in the Tourism Malaysia calendar. Not just float parades, but even hotels and malls were decorated with fresh flowers. I guess now they have replaced it with Floria in Putrajaya.
Wow, that sounded like a spectacle and would have been amazing to witness. Even though Floria was on a smaller scale than what you described, it was still very impressive.
Always great video from you guys. Hope you can stay longer and Cyber Jaya is really nice place for both of you. The Floral event is also in conjunction with the coming Merdeka Day Celebration on 31st August. There will be more events next month. Just check it from the Putrajaya Authority and the KL City Council. Did you guys missed the Putrajaya Wetlands Park.?
Thank you Shaydan1943! We ended up staying in Cyberjaya for 2 weeks and had a great time there and in Putrajaya. Yes we did miss the Wetlands park, there was just so much to see and we were walking around everywhere. It is pretty spread out as well!
Thank you! Yes, Putrajaya was such a beautiful city and it was fantastic reliving these memories when putting the video together. Floria was particularly impressive and very popular for good reason!
It is a shame that many tourists don't know anything about Putrajaya when they visit KL - it is literally between KLCC and the Airport. I went to Putrajaya and loved both masjids, the parks, the lake and the bridges as well as the Presidential House. Putrajaya is a hidden gem that is worth visiting
Welcome to Malaysia… I m glad you visited Putrajaya. It’s a nice place for weekend outing for family ❤ I m your new sub here. Keep posting your video. Have a pleasant stay here…❤❤
Thanks a lot for promoting Putra Jaya, since many vloggers are giving more attention to Kuala Lumpur, what a great video... Great job bro..👌✌️. not forgetting, a glance, you look like a young Harrison Ford 🤭😎
😊😊😊 Flattery will get you everywhere! I'll take that gladly! We are surprised that Putrajaya isn't more well known, it is such a beautiful city. We are happy to promote this, especially as we've been told that our own capital of Canberra in Austalia inspired the design of the city! Thanks for watching!
I had a chance of going inside the Prime Minister's Office once. Its quite exciting as its the equivalent of the White House where big meetings are held. Putrajaya is definitely the most unique place in Malaysia, designed from the ground up as opposed to having a capital grow out organically.
Part of a good presentation is to have a pleasing music accompanying the actual video. Unfortunately in this case the music is just not appropriate and quite annoying
Putrajaya was once rhe territory of state of Selangor. In 1999, the transfer of Putrajaya to Federal Govt was inked between Selnagorbaand Fedwral Govt. What is unique is that the signatories have blood ties. The Federal Govt was represented by the king of Malaysia. Meanwhile Selangor was reprenseted by then Regent of Selangor who happons to be the son of the King
Thank you! We have sadly returned home, but were lucky enough to experience Merdeka last year. We will make a video about that soon too! Better late than never!
According to history, Malaysia day(The day Malaysia was formed) is 16 of September. In this case, I guess September is also a National Month. Cause that 31 August is just independence of Malaya to be exact.

Oohh, tough question! We would say that there are more things to do in Ipoh, i.e. more foodie locations, outdoor activities/attractions etc... That said, we thought Putrajaya is a really pretty city and it is a more central location than Ipoh, i.e. 30min from both KL and the International Airport. We are guessing it might be more cost effective than living in KL and has more of a 'green' vibe, with plenty of parks and walking spaces.
@@BucketListTravellers Thanks for responding. Desperate to move. Unfortunately, the visa situation remains difficult even though MM2H has been relaxed and only one parent can come on a guardian visa. May need to cough up for MM2H! Which other SE Asian countries would you recommend with comparable safety, living costs, schools, healthcare to Malaysia? I think Malaysia comes top in the region 😔
Hi there, to be honest we aren't well placed to give you a good answer as we haven't lived in SE Asia for an extended period of time. We do think Malaysia would be a good option if we were to move! Good luck with your decision.@@WxM3008WxM
