Kira Nolan it’s a great show, some think it isn’t as good after season two but I think 6 and 7 were the best and it’s just gotten better and better. It definitely gets more political as they’re in different roles which I find interesting.

I think Claire has proved that she is an incomparable acting talent and this was the perfect role for her. I have been wowed by so many moments of jaw-dropping brilliance from her Carrie over the years. Sorry if that sounds too gushing, but she really is that good imho. I have relished every moment of this brilliantly-written show and many thanks to everyone who made it happen - such a treat. I will miss it. I hope that in future, Homeland will be the yardstick by which all other TV series are measured.
My favorite series of all time. No kidding. I recommend it to everyone and have gotten about a half dozen people into it to the point of catching every episode too. Other than Carries quivering lip all the time this series is still so Good it overcame the main character having the most annoying traits of crying all the time.

The writing, the realism and Claire's acting blew my mind during the pilot already. I've cried on The Star episode and applaud standing, so insanely intense and solid the story and acting were and still are. It's pure gold. No spy drama will ever be equal. The plank is so damn high, it's hard to believe there could be a better spy story than this one in the coming decades. I wouldn't change any little piece.
I hardly watch TV, let alone a TV series for that matter. Then there was one day I decided to watch Homeland Season 1 and I have been hooked to this ever since. Such powerful story lineage from all that is unfolding in this world. Great acting by Claire and Saul

I have been watching this since season 1 and my family and I have loved every single season. Her performance is beyond excellent. OMG so good. As I'm watching season 8, I'm like crying because I know after this season is over, that's it. No more staying up an hour later to watch Homeland- the show I've been watching for 8 years or so; the show that has the best ACTORS; the show that has the best SCRIPT; the show that has the best SCENERY; the show that I have LOVEDDDD for years.
I rarely ever comment. But there is so much completely deserved Carrie and Homeland love here, I felt compelled. This is truly the best show I have ever seen. There have been a few shows that do a lot pretty well. This one has it all. And Claire as Carrie, along with every other starring actor has been utterly amazing. But Carrie, Quinn, Saul are heroes of my heart.
I’ve been watching her since My So Called Life when we both were teenagers and I knew she would be a brilliant actor. I can’t wait to see her next role.

I can't believe I didn't know about this show before. It takes covad 19 for me to find this as the stay-home order "forced" me to find a show to binge watch on and I found this only a little over a week ago. Have been watching this almost non-stop since and now I'm on Season 4 already. Have to pace myself as have to work (from home) but sometimes would rather be watching this show than working, lol...Agree what a great and reveting show; great acting and story writing and casting. Cannot stop thinking about it...

It won't be the same without Quinn. They shouldn't have killed him off. Loved that sequence when he was in a diner with his fat girlfriend, and a few guys were making fun of her and Quinn destroyed them. So awesome!
Homeland is one of the best shows I believe that has ever been produced. Danes is a monster actor and she put this character on her back and has OWNED it 100%. Mandel Patinkin deserves a ton more of praise for his portrayal of Saul. He is truly a stoic character. I will truly miss this riveting show. Well, at least until I but the series.

On the espionage theme, check out a great British show called “MI-5” (called Spooks in Britain) on BBC America. The portrayals of Carrie and Saul were brilliant, so close to what real life Officers are like. Human strength and weaknesses. Why do cable end these really great shows while keeping the crap shows going?
