Thanks for the video! I had a hell of a time removing the old radio, it's such a pain to get to all the screws to take off off the controls for the fans, I've managed to sort it out now, thanks for the tutorial!
Yeah it is a bit of a nightmare to remove the original radio, but glad that my video was able to help 😀
What are you replacing your old one with?
@@TechniqBB6 before I saw this video, I spent a while researching them on aliexpress and saw one for £180 with 8 cores, 4gb ram and the "360" cameras capability! They seem pretty cool!
@@james2396 awesome, enjoy the new tech in your car. I'm sure you'll be very happy.
this video helped me understand why it was not clipping back in. i do think they should of preinstalled some clips to hold it into place
Glad it helped. Unfortunately these things are not manufactured to the same exact standard as the factory units hence needing to remove the metal clips from the factory unit and swap them over to the aftermarket unit.
@@TechniqBB6 i have ordered some new ones as i lost 2 down into the dash but thank you for the video
@safedave9689 I was just as amazed as to where the fallen stuff disappear to. I lost one screw and to this day have no idea what happened to it 😕
@@TechniqBB6 yeah i lost a screw too dont know where it went ah well i have enough bolts lying around to get it back together
Sjoe, that's looks like a job and a half... but the final product is definitely worth it!
Totally worth it, and now we get to watch our praise & worship in the car too among other things.
Hi, thanx for the video. I need one of those units
Hi there. You may WhatsApp 0765883384 to order.
Did you have to re use the original brackets from the factory to mount the stereo with the bolts into place?
No factory brackets were used. Only the retaining clips were swapped over.
Well done
Thank you 🤗
Great video, fixed my car stereo, thanks. Just one question, the two screws on the sides fell off and I don't know how to get them back, any suggestions?
Glad the video helped. I lost one screw as well and for the life of me have no idea where it fell into. Your best bet is to order some new ones from your local Honda dealer or find a wrecked car that you can strip them from.
Hi How's it going buddy. Where can I get a 9/10" radio trim plate for my jazz?
Hi there, we bring them in by pre-order
Hi thanks for the video helped me so far installing on my jazz, I’m on the last part of putting clips back in, any tips on how to attach those metal clips to the after market unit I’m struggling to get them on the new head unit. I’ve been able to take them off the old one just can’t get them on the new one
Glad to hear that this video has helped. Are you struggling to put the clips on because they are too tight or because they are too loose? If too tight then you'll have to apply a bit of force on them (I suggest using a flat screw driver to apply some pressure). If they're too loose you'll have to press the ends together to try and get them to be able to grip onto the plastic parts of the new trim.
@@TechniqBB6 hey thanks for the reply appreciate it, currently they are too tight even applying force they just won’t clip on, I’m thinking of trying to pry them open a bit so they will go on and then use some plier to tighten them shut. It’s the little pointy bits that sort of point inwards that’s causing the trouble XD
@@user-rl1hv6lh9k ah yes, you'll have to pry them open just a bit. Tighten them enough afterwards so that if you ever need to remove the unit again the clips don't come loose and fall behind the dash. I missed one, and when I removed the unit to install the reverse camera lost the clip 😅🙈
Thanks..Where do you buy your Radio Android and the make please..
I import and supply them. Main brands are GPScar and Kunfine.
Does you're steering wheel control's still work? Mine don't
