I watched my mother do that for decades in the years the trees had a good supply. I don't recall her laying them on their sides. She was a fantastic cook. 😊 People used to work so hard every day.
I’d love to have a freeze dryer then they still keep all nutritional value . And great for the winter months for snacking plus delicious too. But buying them in the store they are so expensive .
They may be sanitized however I doubt you have an autoave to properly sterilize these pliers. Big difference between sterilization and sanitizing. Also bc they have a rubber handle you couldn’t sterilize as they are bc the rubber is porous
Please don't let them go to waste. My neighbor has fruit trees, and he just let's them go to waste. I offered to buy some from him, no he said... it t hurts my ❤ to see food wasted.
Exciting! Be sure to learn all you can about trimming it early, and also using neem oil and fungicides. My peach tree is six years old, and I have yet to harvest edible peaches because the trees and fruit are so susceptible to fungi. Trimming also promotes a healthier tree and larger, healthier fruit. I naively thought I could plant it and just wait for peaches to happen. 🥴😢
@mistymountainhop8520 when I was a kid, my dad and I would go to older neighbors and offer to pick for them. We'd give them half and take the other half home. It was great!
Very enjoyable video great tip on getting the pit out. 😊 Thank you for sharing Sheeran have a blessed day stay safe and healthy. Love your videos. 😋😋😋🙏❤🙏❤🙏
I used to can a lot being very careful to stick clean rag dipped in hot water and just before putting lid on, clean. A nurse taught me how to be super clean, but your vinegar swipe sounds easier-thanks
Don't turn them on their sides! Leave them upright where they are for 24 hours. Don't move them! Then remove the bands and wash the jars and lids in soapy water. Dry and label with the date.
In Central Europe with my family we just cut the peaches, then put into jar, add crystal sugar, water on top and boil in glasses. Your process looks really complicated for me 😁
i love ALL your tutorial videos… 😊 and this was exceptional because i’d like to learn more about canning and preserving foods. Are you able to do video on canning vegetables to so they don’t get soggy? ❣️
Fun fact. Ball company. Has a college named BALL STATE in Indiana. Great college. The school mascot is a Cardinal bird. The colors are Red and White. Amazing programs, fun little town, amazing food options on campus. A community auditorium on campus where shows tour through. It’s large and fun to live and visit.
Wow I feel like I want to try this you've given me great inspiration you make it look so easy and I'm a Cantor from way back I may have to try this thanks
When mom use to can peaches, she always put 1 peaches stone to each jar. She said it helped the flavour, I thought it looked nice lol. I still do that when I can peaches but I don’t remove the pit until I slice them for the jar. Interesting that you lay the jar in its side. I may have to try that, though I’ve never had the syrup sink down before unless it got old in the cellar.
This generation needs to know these skills. Thank you, dear.
I love that you use your drawers for flour and sugar!!!
You make everything look so easy!❤
This video was just... peachy 😅

😊
People used to work so hard every day.
My grandfather used to turn them upside down, not on the side. I think it is done to prevent the top layer from getting dry (for tomatoes especially)
No, it’s just wrong don’t do it!
Thanks so so much for these helpful hints..... you're the ONLY one on here on YOU TUBE that gives great tips for canning!!!!💕🙋💕👍👍👍👍
I followed these instructions and everything turned out amazing!
Just eat them fresh!!!! Best way to eat anything
Can’t eat 100 peaches fresh. That’s why people can.
I’d love to have a freeze dryer then they still keep all nutritional value . And great for the winter months for snacking plus delicious too. But buying them in the store they are so expensive .

Light simple syrup is a 1:1 ratio, usually for cocktalis. This 3:1 ratio makes a thick syrup.
I think that was 3 parts water 1 part sugar.
I would definitely mess this up but im gonna try!
Good for you!
Don't turn them on their sides! Leave them upright where they are for 24 hours. Don't move them! Then remove the bands and wash the jars and lids in soapy water. Dry and label with the date.
Time to stock up on these peaches before Summer's over! These canned peaches are getting pretty pricey.
Your a Genius!!😂😂😂
Thank you,Shereen, you are so amazing in your recipes. I look forward to seeing you and especially you giving chefie tips
For anyone interested, this is NOT a safe canning method. Many dangerous things going on here.
AGREED!! IM CRINGING 😢😢
What's the dangerous things besides the hot liquids?
Can you name a few?
@@RickytickyBobbywobbin-jl5oy staging jars, not following a tested recipe for acidity, turning jars on the side

It sure is ❤
So many steps lol...for me that is😊
Amazing ❤️🔥✨️
Why do you place the jar on it's side once sealed. No matter- yours look simply delicious.Oh I heard at the end to prevent separation.
Laying them on their side can cause seal failures.
Can you hot water bath soups as well
@@anjels1st2003 I think you should pressure can soup.
Very good ❤
You no longer need to sterilize jars, and shouldn't boil lids anymore
Delicious 😋
I wish you had a recipe for Blackberry Jam.
Yum 😋 ❤
Great video 👍🏾
Nice peach!
Thank you for this!!!
You're 🫵🏼 a beautiful peach🥰😋
Used to do this 35 years ago when my kids were small - peaches and pears - buying from local farm stands.
You make everything look like it tastes so much better.
Beautiful
WHOAAA THE DISHWASHER

Love the 'Peach'
Wow on the Pliers!!! Easy!
I hope they are organic!!! 😮
It’s not recommended to move jars (or lay them sideways) for 24 hours after canning processing
Fantastic .em em em .
Oh my God, I wish it only took that long!
Do you have a lid for the flour and sugar? It'll absorb moisture from the air and lose quality and is exposed to bugs and any other debris.
THATS, one beautiful peach
If you could find peaches that weren’t as gard as rocks I would love to can. Or even just freeze!!
Wait four or five days, and they should ripen and soften.
Just buy peaches already canned at the store seems to be cheaper
I can smell this video. 😊
I just Love You!!! You Are A Bad Chick!!!❤❤
