Great review. Perhaps a little off topic, but can the Vividstorm UST screen be used with a regular projector? I believe EBPMAN used this screen in his Benq TK850 review. Thanks in advance.
Vividstorm UST screen can not used with a regular projector, which it is used with the ust laser projector to maximize the projection effect. And as I know, EBPMAN used this screen in his Vava 4k Ultra short throw laser projector, not Benq TK850. th-cam.com/video/DfDLPTCigww/w-d-xo.html
@@projectionscreenVividstorm The screen in EBPMAN's TK850 review clearly has a black bar across the bottom. Which screen, besides the Vividstorm UST, has a black bar across the bottom? EBPMAN's Benq TK800M review has the same screen with the same black bar. Also, his review of the actual screen shows that he purchased the Vividstorm UST screen. In both Vava ust reviews by EBPMAN he uses a fixed screen not a floor rising screen. However, he does use a Vividstorm screen in his Epson LS300 ust review that has the same black bar across the bottom of the screen. I would really like to purchase the screen he is using in the Benq TK850 review and lm just trying to figure out which screen it is. Thanks.
Trying to get mine setup. What's your process to set up the projector and screen? It's so tricky to ensure the ust is projecting the entirety of the screen. Do you also see bleeding on the edges? I don't see it in the video, curious to know how you fixed that

Dude you got a lot of stuff going on, love to see it 😁🤝🏻
Right, this is just the tip of the iceberg :)

I believe it can. However I don't have a regular projector for testing it anymore.

Greetings.
Which UST projector are you using?
It's the www.bomaker.com/products/polaris-4k-ultra-short-throw-laser-tv

I didn't have those issues. It was simple to setup and align up.
I'm thinking of upgrading from a 65inch OLED LG TV to a UST projector with a 120inch ALR screen. Would you recommend I make the transition?
It seems like a trade-off you have to make: Image quality for size. OLED definitely is better.
@@ToolsElectroDIY I understand that, but I'm keen to have a big screen to get that cinematic feel.
@@michalsavatar7 Then this screen with a laser projector is the next best thing. Go for it!
@@ToolsElectroDIY awesome. Thanks
that's for sure 120"... how positive are you that is only 100"??? you know screens are measures diagonally right? (just making sure lol)
I wish! Yes it is 100'', according to the manufacture!
First?
Yes
