oh alright! hey its always good to mess around with video editing to make it better:) but no hate this was kinda bad. cant wait for the next one!@@mxoudi
Bro that was cool you're so lucky to get a chance to ride the varg.. although it looks like a fun bike to ride and seems pretty cool I still would rather have my gasser😁👍🔥
Dude I'm so grateful man that guy was super cool for letting me ride it. And yeah I agree, I don't think it's worth 14k yet. Maybe in 10 years when the technology gets better and they're more affordable THEN I'll switch to them, but as of now I'm keeping my two stroke!
@mxoudi I'm confused because brand new 450s are 12k so 14k seems a bargin for 30 more hp right out the gate and even used 450s are like 4-6k so...... price wise it isn't bad.....
You have to keep in mind too though that for literally 12 minutes of riding, he brought the battery down 20%, and the bike loses power progressively the lower the battery gets. That is the BIGGEST drawback for me, the fact that the Varg battery is NOT REMOVABLE.... So you cannot bring a second battery and throw the first on a generator to charge while you are riding with the 'fresh' battery, they take about 1-2 hours to charge at 120v. You can get about 3 1/2 hours of EASY trail riding with 50% power map, where a full blown gas bike you have the full power on tap 24/7 without needing to flip through power maps to get it. Also the torque of these bikes has a HUGE learning curve, you will CONSTANTLY break traction accidentally even after getting used to it.@@lifebehindtheselens
@@lifebehindtheselens Yeah it's not an awful deal but if you actually turned on 80 HP and rode that bike it would be dead in 15 minutes and you would have to wait hours to charge it. Unless of course you have a 240V 5000 Watt generator that can fast charge it in about 90 minutes but that just seems like too much work. If it had 2 batteries I would consider paying 14k, but for the technology and potential issues it simply is not worth it to me quite yet. However in a few years when other competitors start offering more features and better performance I will heavily consider it.
Lool. I know it sounds silly, but on my old ktm I'd get this weird handlebar shake in the air that did not happen on this bike at all. Hence why i said it was smooth
been binging your videos lately and honestly insane you don’t have more exposure. i’m a new rider and i love seeing the learning process that i can look forward to! keep it up brotha!
Dude fr I'm soo grateful he let me ride, he was super cool for that. I was soo nervous asking him to ride but before I even asked he offered and said he'd seen me online and wanted my reaction on the bike 😭😭
my dad made a custom self welded bike from a 450 made electric its a tad faster than the stark varg battery last bout 20 hrs on full throttle it cost about 7k
@@Aluminuim12 Sorry, don't believe you one bit. First, your DIY bike will not be faster than a stark. Second, DIY bikes do not have larger batteries so therefore it will not run full throttle for 3 hours. Prove me wrong. Post some stats. Motor? Battery? Link to build or video..... I'll wait.
Yeah it's good in ruts since it stays leaned down rather than trying to straighten itself out, whips are a little scarier apparently too since they don't come back automatically, but you can always just whack the throttle, spin the rear wheel and make your own rotating mass lol. Riding these are much more enjoyable imo. No shifting gears, no loud engine, you can hear the dirt crackling under your tire, the slam of the bike when you land, no stalling. Twist and go.
@@Dr_sous hehe. In a few years there will be other competitors that sell locally and don't charge 14k and will have more respectable ranges. Let's wait a bit
@@richardvollmer2842 my problem is I'm soo indecisive. I often decide where I ride the morning of and am horrible at planning. I just send it to whatever makes sense in the moment but I'm gonna try and be better about where i post.
Bro you give me so much anxiety when you don’t strap your helmet 😂. I’ve see a bunch of people lose their lids in a crash because of it. I went through a phase where I ended up having to write a reminder on both sides of my helmet with a permanent marker until the habit was formed because I did the same thing.
Haha ik, fortunately I always hear the strap smacking around so after the first lap i usually strap it. Usually no biggie since that's always my warm up lap. The only reason i didn't care to do it here is because i wanted to waste NO time while i was on this bike 😭😭
I would feel some type of way spinning so many laps on it, I woulda rode like 2 laps and went back, especially not knowing the guy ha. Be considerate! Lol nice video tho
Yeah Imma be honest I'm kind of an ass for taking it longer than i should not even gonna lie to ya. I get too "in the moment" sometimes and my autism takes over LOL
It feels pretty similar to a motocross bike, just different power delivery and 0 shifting/power modulation with clutch. Also gets up FAST. My surron feels more like a mountain bike though. This feels like an easier to ride mx bike
I agree, that's why i went with my ktm instead. Also after everything is said and done you're probably going to be spending around $14,000. Which I refuse to do for a bike that will only last about 45 minutes before you have to plug it into a generator and wait for it to charge. When the tech develops I'll consider switching.
I know it sounds weird cuz 450s are at 60HP but bro this thing has 0 lag, and the torque is instant so it sure asf fealt like it could beat 450. Even if it couldn't at 44HP the bike can go up to 80HP. I was a little tired and scared to open it up so I don't know for sure but I wouldn't doubt what he said tbh, this bike is nuts. (Still wouldn't pay 14k for it though haha)
@@mxoudi I think there’s no denial that they are more powerful, but that Dsnt mean there better.
