Kind Riders Push Me To Ride Faster On Bad Day

Had a fun yet challenging weekend riding at Brushy mountain again. I am determined to improve my technical skill and this is definitely the way to do it! Also I figured out why my plugs keep fouling! A kind rider who also has an EFI two stroke told me to rev my bike hard to clean out the plug after a day of riding, and when letting it warm up I should let the bike idle for a couple minutes. Today I'm in my friends backyard learning how to jump logs. They pressure me to do some things outside my comfort zone and I greatly increased my skills. I definitely need more practice but going in the trails now I will definitely feel more comfortable even after this short day. The vibes here are unmatched in my opinion. How to NOT ride Supercross

So today I rode NCMP's supercross track. I know it's not a REAL supercross track but it definitely warms you up to an SX track imo. Started off sloppy but slowly started getting the hang of it. Also god some clips of the main track as well. Didn't progress much today, it was too hot to focus but I still had fun as always. Hope you enjoy!

Did some hard enduro riding in Brushy mountain. I figured with the tracks being wayy too hot I couldn't enjoy myself so now is a perfect time to get my technical skill up in the ever so slightly cooler mountains. Today I rode some street and some trails with a new group. Was really fun and got to see a different type of riding. Fun day although ended poorly I had a great time. Today was hot and I was struggling. Focused on a few things like looking ahead of ruts, squeezing with legs to conserve energy and riding more efficiently/safe, but it seems as the day went on my desire to practice whips came back and I couldn't help but get back into it after not practicing for soo long! You can diminish headshake by lowering the forks on the triple clamps and/or tightening the stem nut to make steering heavier. From what I can see in 15:34 you have your forks pretty up. That causes the rear end of the bike to be higher and makes the bike more responsive to steering input. If you lower your forks flush against the trimple clamps you'll lose some sensibility to steering changes

It's SOO tight and it's taking forever to break in and it hurts to wear after 20 minutes. I think i need to stick a mannequin head in it to let it expand or a basketball or something
good job oudi your improving really well and not every day will be perfect, just shoot for improvement
Tighten your steering column that will help with head shake. (It’s the big ass bolt under the bar pad 😅)

@@mxoudiif you go to tighten that, make sure you loosen the bolts on the top triple clamp first, then tighten those back up after you adjust the steering stem
Just came across your channel, and this is the first video ive watched... Love it dude :) Im in the process of trying to save up for a bike.. i want a KTM... had a 2005 KX 125 years ago, But didnt give motocross a good go, due to family arguments etc.. But now i want to get back into it :)
I know that feel man. I got into mx when I was 14 for about a year and it was the best year of my life. But then money and school was a problem and had to give it up for a while. Got back into it 7 years later and haven't looked back since and have been happy since that day. Keep on working and saving and don't stop until you get a bike! Getting back into it will be an amazing day. (:
@@mxoudi ahhh. I met my mrs 15 years ago.. and found out that her brother rides for honda.. and that she is a photographer for local racing etc... So naturally, i got into it... But honestly... her father ruined it for me... he was pushy, and expected me to be as good and as fast as his son is..... didnt understand that his son, riding for honda.. is going to be better than me, its kinda obvious... But we ended up in arguments, and had the odd fight in the paddock too.. So that pushed me away from the sport.. But i really miss it... I wasnt amazing and i wasnt fast.. but it put a smile on my face... and now that my 5 year old daughter is showing interest, and has a PW50... its making me want to get another bike :D

Oudi you should race, you have the speed for a decent finish probably. Also at 13:36 when you got headshake it is probably because your steering is too loose. Keep up the good work tho

@@mxoudi Your ruts aren't that bad, I've definitely seen worse you just have to trust in the bike and yourself, confidence is so key in the ruts. But if you want to get better in the ruts try to show up to the track early so you are in the deeper stuff and there are better ruts to learn in. Also go inside as much as possible until you get them down

You are not hitting the angle 📐 right you still too scared to lean back if you just keep your finger on the brake if you think you about to loop the bike and it seems your bike need a higher gear like 64 sprocket if you are stock if you got power mods turn it up and supermoto tires will help a lot been wheeling in bikes since I was 11 it literally took me like 2 hours to carry a wheelie far as I want but my Surron is 72v 60ah ebmx9k ebmx motor and rear legs and I have a custom rear frame so I can drag it out if I’m gonna loop if I’m smooth enough.
Yeah this video is old, i was definitely hesitating here. My latest video "hard surron trail riding" showcases some improvement there.
