- Two goals in the last fifteen minutes from Ally McCoist and Jorg Albertz sent Rangers into the Scottish Cup Final against Hearts. A diving header from McCoist and an Albertz rocket after a 50 yard run were enough for the win despite a late fightback from Celtic with an injury time goal from Craig Burley.
The Hammer's goal was unbelievable, one of my all time favourite Rangers goals. I loved the way he got his head over the ball, even after that long run, and smashed it into the roof of the net.....a great moment. The Bears were brilliant they day, loud and confident that they would win.

Albertz goal was a stunner, and he done it again the following week to them in the league at Ibrox, don`t let the big man in on your left or he will punish you, loved the guy.

Laudrup and Larsson on the same park together unbelievable to think of the talent both teams used to have.
The celebration from Ally tells you everything you need to know about how much it meant to him. This was the end of an era, the end of the 9 in a row team, and Ally knew that would probably be his final Old Firm goal.

jorg albertz the best ever goal scored in an old firm game next to Davie Coopers goal at Hampden when he played keepie up against the celtic defence that was incredible and i was there that day.
Albertz is my all time favourite rangers player what a player how advacaat thought it was a good idea to get rid of him ill never know

Every old firm game should be a 50/50 split between the fans although the glasgow polis would have a heart attack.Atmosphere was tremendous that day and check out Super Ally smiling before he put's the diving header in!! RIP Phil O'Donnell.
i was at this game in the main stand (Rangers end) and it was the best atmosphere and loudest i had ever seen.
I remember it well and my son ewan was born on the 11th May and I had him at the final on 16th at 5 days old against hearts who beat us 2-1 that day, must be the youngest ever wean at a cup final, he will be 22 next month, time flys 🏆🇬🇧R. I. P. Phil odonnell
