I rode several of those legends in my biker' life. My first bike was a CB350 Honda and I owned also 2 Z900n and 2 XS 1100. Just wondering why no Suzuki GS 1000 was in the choice and worse, the GSX 1100 who was a beast of it's time., especially the EFE which block was so strong and reliable that it has been currently used in top fuel dragster races...
Kawasali triples were not reliable, it is a TS185, not TS one hundred and eighty five. You talk of Kawasaki H1 but show a KH500. Where is the Suzuki gs550 and 750, they are more reliable than most of the bike you show.
Nope. I’ve had exhaust valves stick open on Honda CB450 engines, caused by the weak “hairpin” valve springs. I won’t own another. Trying to get any multi-cylinder 2-stroke bike to run correctly is an exercise in frustration. When you finally get one plug firing correctly, it throws off the other cylinder(s), and a simple tune-up will be an all-day job.
@ I had 2 mates with Kwaker H1’s in the mid 70’s. Both had problems with the middle pots overheating and were taking the plugs out after almost every ride to check, gap and refit/replace them. Mind you, we were young hooligans and thrashed around everywhere.
This is USA biased. Max engine limit for learners in the UK in the 1970’s was 250cc. Stating a 350cc bike was good for new riders in the 70’s is rubbish.
Back in the early 2000s the Suzuki GT750 was my daily rider for almost 5 years

XS650 better than any other parallel twin
All the advantages of the legendary english twins without their main problem (leaking oil everywhere 🙂 )
My GT380 had a missing water cooling system
I owned a 74 XS 650 and a 72 Z1. Both bikess were fantastic. A XS 650 could keep up with a Z1 up to about 80mph.
.
380 was Air Cooled

Having owned 14 kawasaki triples, I never had a reliability issue. Like all 2 strokes of the era, maintenance was easy.

WATER COOLING SYSTEM? 🤦🏻♂️
It was RAM AIR COOLED !!! Jeez!
A z1 is a 1000 cc the Z9 is the 900 as shown in the video need to do your home work if you're going to put videos out like this😊
No. Z1 was 903cc. I owned one. Z900 came out years later.
@fredfish4316 so what's the 1000 called?? in Australia as far as remember Z1 1000cc Z9 900 cc
As in video Z1 was 903cc. You can identify a 72 & 73 ,by black engine.

Nice job, a mish mash of incorrect photographs to go along with the narration to keep the viewer totally confused.
11:29 Goldwing GL1000
1st Released in 1975. Nope!
Introduced October 1974 Cologne motorcycle show. 🤦🏻♂️
Nice job, great reviews
Rd350 …. Reliable…. ?????
Nice to see old bikes but about as accurate opinions in the narrative as Wiley coyote on ketamine ….
Who the heck put this video together with so many basic errors? Back to the drawing board perhaps?
01:50 Water buffalo? 😂😂😂
It was known as THE KETTLE! 🤷🏼♂️
Kids today….🤦🏻♂️
In many contry it was knnown as The Water Buffalo .
@michaelnielsen2096 In many English speaking "contry", they knew how to spell country and called it the Kettle. 🤷🏻♂️
Water bucket in oz
@nothere57 No shocks there. They call a router a "rowter". 🤦🏻♂️
@Sn00pyJ508
Yep I grew up in Ireland and we called it the Kettle but here in Chicago they called it the Water Buffalo .
04:43 Durable and reliable? 😂😂😂
Kawasaki H1’s Centre pots used to overheat!
Maybe you had to be a biker in the 1970’s to know?
I was and never had a problrm with my H1.

What a rubish selection, unreliable 2 strokes, and no Suzuki gs750, xs650s are not that reliable either, do better research.
Who cares what you think!!!
@halperkins1791 Ditto...back at ya.
