Music has always played an important role in my life. Music is my medicine, and I believe in the healing power of music. Music can touch you in places you cannot physically reach. It can stir emotion and bring you back to your core. It can make you remember who you are deep inside. It is my way of expressing what lives inside of me.

This album has been a journey during a period in which I learned to embrace the darkness of life, and then let the light shine through. It is an expression of life's experiences, in high peaks and deep lows.
I feel that the lyrics will be recognizable to many. I am grateful that my voice touches people's hearts. This makes me believe that this album can be supportive during a deep process in someone's life.
